ThinLine® Technology:
ThinLine® is a unique open-cell foam with a specific texture and suppleness that allows the product to mold to the natural shape of the horse to provide custom-fit protection. ThinLine® production begins as a liquid; microscopic cells are poured into a mold, then polarized so each cell lies end to end to create a tunnel. Another layer is poured over top and polarized in a new direction, and this process is repeated hundreds of times to create a honeycomb matrix of cells that allow heat and impact to move laterally through the material to dissipate out the edges.
On average, ThinLine® products offer a 7-10 year lifespan of ultimate protection.
Performance Enhancement:
ThinLine® distributes impact, heat and weight with a no-slip design, allowing horses to grow in confidence and balance, using their backs to travel deeper and rounder. Comments: I purchased this pad back in 2017. It has been an excellent pad for my hard-to-fit horse and her back changes every season- Arab mare! The removable shims are lifesavers & the Thinline material is very shock absorbing. I do not ride English primarily, but when I do, this pad is always used every time. It still looks new and it is a lovely pad. The only thing that I surprisingly found out wasn't as likable as I'd thought are the beautiful sheepskin rolls. If you are going to trail ride, I think they are a bit excessive and can get soiled. Otherwise, it is perfect.
