ThinLine® reins feature a strong, yet flexible nylon base, with a ThinLine®-wrapped grip, for rider comfort and consistency. The ends are made from traditional 5/8" English leather with standard hook and stud bit end closures. ThinLine® Technology:
World-renowned for their undeniable therapeutic benefits, ThinLine® Performance Products have provided horses and riders alike with performance enhancement through impact and shock absorption, pressure distribution and optimal ventilation.
ThinLine® is a unique open-cell foam with a specific texture and suppleness that allows the product to mold to the natural shape of the horse to provide custom-fit protection. ThinLine® production begins as a liquid; microscopic cells are poured into a mold, then polarized so each cell lies end to end to create a tunnel. Another layer is poured over top and polarized in a new direction, and this process is repeated hundreds of times to create a honeycomb matrix of cells that allow heat and impact to move laterally through the material to dissipate out the edges.
Care Instructions:
ThinLine® strongly recommends the use of Thinline Cleaners for these products, as they have been tested and are completely safe for the ThinLine® foam lining and do an excellent job of cleaning the leather in an all-natural product. For conditioning the leather we recommend using a paste-like conditioner (like Horseman's One Step) so that you can control the application and prevent saturation of the ThinLine® material.
