Bristle Stiffness
Made to lightly dust, spread natural oils, and polish the horse's coat, these brushes are gentle on skin and hair. Bristles bend easily and flick dust and debris off. They can also be called "finishing" brushes.
Often containing multiple bristle materials, these brushes dust while also grabbing larger chunks of debris. Medium brushes are tougher on grime, skin, and hair yet still have flexible bristles.
Meant for raking dirt and debris off the coat, these bristles are not flexible and are toughest on skin and hair. Large clumps of debris and loose hair get trapped in the inflexible bristles and are brushed off.
Crafted in Germany, the Haas Cavaliere Medium Horse Hair Bristles Body Brush combines class with quality. The strong, supple black and white horsehair and wooden base create a durable body brush that is sure to lift dirt, loose hairs, and dander from your horse's coat. With a comfortable leather hand strap that is cleverly incorporated into the body of the brush, it avoids the use of nails or glue for increased longevity and prevents injury to horse or rider. The longer border edges maximize cleaning results to reveal a soft, shiny coat.

Cleaning Instructions:
The brushes from HAAS can be washed in the washing machine in a closed pillow cover or wash bag without any problems in up to 86 Fahrenheit water temperature with a disinfection washing agent or a normal cleaner that does not contain a softener or abrasive ingredients. Please pay attention that the washing machine is not too empty as it can result in damage to the brushes. The better option is to wash the brushes by hand under lukewarm water. Apply a mild shampoo without softener and rinse well. Please allow the brushes to dry slowly (do not put on a heating device or in the sun).

Comments: This brush is my favorite out of the Haas line! It really brings up the dirt out of the undercoat and brings out the natural oils from the skin. My girls sparkle after I'm done using it!

Comments: Like other reviewers, I was skeptical that a brush could work so much better than the rest. However, this brush (and the rest of my Haas brushes) are worth every penny! They get every last speck of dust and dirt and loose hair and my sensitive horse didn't mind the stiffer bristles at all. Definitely would recommend it!

Comments: I was very skeptical at the hype for the Haas brushes, but it is all true! Right now the cavalier is my fav as it really gets the dander and dust up from the longer pre-winter coat. And surprisingly all the horses seem to like it.

Comments: My horses love this brush! I use it in sequence with some other haas brushes (curry, military, cavalier, fellglanzburste, diva) and it is striking how well they all work together. this one really seems to lift some of the finer particles and sweep them off with short flicking motions, then begin to spread the natural oils with longer strokes. on top of that, all of the brushes are stunning, they look so classy!

Comments: Used this on both sensitive thoroughbreds I ride, neither of which has been a fan of grooming since I've known them. This brush's unique design and medium-stiffness made for an effective body brush for both of them. It knocked off the dirt/sweat/scurf (of which there was lots!) AND was well tolerated, minimizing the dramatic complaints I usually receive trying to get them clean after rolling in mud. Glad I took the plunge -money well spent!!!
