Bristle Stiffness
Made to lightly dust, spread natural oils, and polish the horse's coat, these brushes are gentle on skin and hair. Bristles bend easily and flick dust and debris off. They can also be called "finishing" brushes.
Often containing multiple bristle materials, these brushes dust while also grabbing larger chunks of debris. Medium brushes are tougher on grime, skin, and hair yet still have flexible bristles.
Meant for raking dirt and debris off the coat, these bristles are not flexible and are toughest on skin and hair. Large clumps of debris and loose hair get trapped in the inflexible bristles and are brushed off.
Crafted in Germany, the Haas Fellglanzburste Body Brush is a nice addition to any equestrian's grooming kit. Featuring densely packed soft horsehair bristles incorporated directly within the body of the brush, there is no need for nails or glue which means exceptional longevity and better safety for horse and rider. It is ideal for removing dust and dirt from the body and legs while enhancing the natural shine in the coat.

Cleaning Instructions:
The brushes from HAAS can be washed in the washing machine in a closed pillow cover or wash bag without any problems in up to 86 Fahrenheit water temperature with a disinfection washing agent or a normal cleaner that does not contain a softener or abrasive ingredients. Please pay attention that the washing machine is not too empty as it can result in damage to the brushes. The better option is to wash the brushes by hand under lukewarm water. Apply a mild shampoo without softener and rinse well. Please allow the brushes to dry slowly (do not put on a heating device or in the sun).

Comments: I just bought a new horse and I decided I wanted to invest in some high-end grooming brushes. I had always heard how nice HAAS brushes were so I decided to order a few and see. Wow! I had not realized what I was missing out on. These brushes are gorgeous and really produce a high shine on the horse's coat. I adore soft bristle brushes and this one was no different. I am telling these brushes with horsehair bristles are amazing. They really get the horse clean and produce an absolutely fabulous shine that most people use products to get.

Comments: I wanted to be unimpressed. I wanted to be disappointed. I was neither. Holy smokes, people, the Haas magic is real. It's a thing, and I am now hooked. After a solid going over with a jelly scrubber, I took out the Haas Fellglanzburste. I am not going to lie. Within about three strokes I was hooked. I cannot explain it, but the brush felt ... alive in my hand. I could feel the bristles working their way through Speedy's coat, almost like my own fingers. But best of all was that he let me use firm pressure all over his whole body, including his back! It was almost addictive. I brushed and brushed and brushed and brushed removing layer after layer of deep dirt. Speedy never fussed or grew tired of the grooming session, and he's not the biggest fan of being groomed. The brush worked equally well on the larger areas as it did on his legs and even his face (I was quite gentle there). I found that shorter strokes helped lift the dirt from his skin, and then a gentle flick sent it off his coat without settling back down. After grooming his whole body, his coat felt clean and soft, almost as a good as after a shampoo. This brush is of a medium stiffness, but it worked great on both of my horses' fine summer coats. I don't know how it will do on heavy winter coats, but now that I've tried one of the Haas brushes, I will definitely be adding more. And fortunately for me, there is a huge selection from which to choose.
