Meet Sponsored Riders:
Heather & Jeremy Reynolds

Riding Warehouse has the pleasure of sponsoring Heather and Jeremy Reynolds, aka Reynolds Racing, an avid endurance rider duo. Our RW Crew has enjoyed supporting their equestrian endeavors, and we invite you to read about the Reynolds' horseback riding journey to discover more about their story as a couple in the sport of endurance.
The Reynolds' Background & Horseback Experience
Heather
Heather is from Los Gatos, CA and has loved horses her whole life. No one in Heather's family had horses, so her only opportunity to ride was by renting an occasional horse when it could be afforded.
When Heather was 11 years old, her dad saw an ad in the paper saying, "Feed horses in exchange for riding." Her parents called the number and learned that the time of day that was needed for feeding was when Heather was in school. Luckily, the woman who posted the ad loved kids and told Heather's parents to bring her out anyway.
Maryben Stover was the hero in making Heather's horse dreams come true. She mentored her for over a decade and taught her countless skills. Maryben happened to be an endurance rider, so that became the discipline of choice for Heather.
Heather did her first endurance ride in 1988 with Maryben. She has now trained and competed on well over 100 horses. She has ridden for Team USA five times and competed in nine countries so far.
Heather has won the Tevis Cup three times and the Haggin Cup two times (one year earning the double cup). She has also won the Pan American Championship.

Jeremy
Jeremy grew up in Incline Village, NV with a love for horses, but he had no way to access them. One day while in high school, he was skiing and a classmate asked him if he liked horses. Jeremy's classmate and friend had a family business for sleigh rides, guided mountain trail rides, and fox hunting. From that day on the ski hill, Jeremy's horse dreams began. That very same evening, he went and helped with the sleigh rides; within a couple of seasons, he was the head trail boss for the trail rides.
Jeremy later went to join his brother playing baseball at a college in Ridgecrest, where his brother told him about a woman who was hiring riders to help start and condition endurance horses. Jeremy went to Jackie Bumgardner's and rode with her, and she introduced Jeremy to the sport of endurance. At Jeremy's second endurance ride, he met his future wife, Heather Reynolds.
Jeremy has been doing endurance since 2001. He has trained and competed on over 100 horses. Jeremy has ridden for Team USA abroad five times, and has competed in eight countries so far. He has also won the Tevis Cup five times and the Haggin Cup three times (two of those were double cup years, winning the Tevis and Haggin in the same event year).
