Care Instructions: Zilco is incredibly easy to maintain, you can Simply clean in a bucket of soapy water, rinse, and hang to dry.
Technologies:
Zilco began in 1962 as a small factory in Sydney (Australia), making lightweight racing products from revolutionary synthetic materials. Zilco's famous synthetic strapping is made from specially woven webbing that is coated in a co-polymer. This strong strapping retains its flexibility over a large temperature range and has great resistance to abrasion, tear and cracking. The strapping will not wick moisture like other synthetic materials so the coating won’t split or open. Wonderful ease of maintenance you will appreciate.

Sizing:
Zilco's "Standard/Arab" size measures smaller than an average horse size and will fit more petite horses, like an Arabian. Zilco's "Full/Oversize" size measures significantly larger and is best for standard horses.

Comments: I bought the ZILCO breast plate with the matching Halter and Headstall. I started to send it back because the light green wasn't as lime as I wanted. Then I looked closely at the quality of all three of the items I ordered. The workmanship was amazing so I kept them. The Arab size halter fits my 1/2 Arab 1/2 APHA very nicely. Just wished Riding Warehouse could order the matching reins for me.

Comments: Love this halter. So lightweight! Very easy to clean and seems to be very durable so far. I like that there are so many colors to choose from as well. Did not have a problem fitting my cob sized horse.

Comments: I love these halters. I like to ride hard in the backcountry and these halters make for less sweating and itching. So easy to wash/clean. Just wish I could find zilco in Cob size - the Oversize is really huge and the Arab a bit too small in the chin strap for some of my horses.
