They include options from 0 grams fill to 150 grams fill, and generally work for clipped horses in 40-50*F, and unclipped horses in 30-40*F. Medium weight blankets range from 180 grams of fill to 250 grams of fill, and heavy weight blankets range from 275 grams of fill to 450 grams of fill. Turnout blankets are built for the outside whereas stable blankets and liners are perfect for stalled horses and do not have a waterproof exterior.
