They include options ranging from 275 grams fill to 450 grams fill, and generally work for clipped horses in 20-30*F, and unclipped horses in 10-20*F. Light weight blankets range from 0 grams of fill to 150 grams of fill, and medium weight blankets range from 180 grams of fill to 250 grams of fill. Because these are the heaviest of blanket options, they often feature full coverage or options to include liners for even colder weather. Turnout blankets are built for the outside whereas stable blankets and liners are perfect for stalled horses and do not have a waterproof exterior.
