Western Reins
Western reins come in several varieties like split reins, single roping reins or barrel racing reins, and romal. As an essential piece of riding equipment, they aid in clear guidance to your horse. The feel of reins is a personal preference for riders with varied thicknesses, weights, and lengths. Choose waterloop ties or clips for a secure attachment to your bit and browse various materials of Herman oak leather, latigo leather, or woven nylon.
Western Barrel and Roping Reins
Barrel and roping reins are typically shorter with more grip, commonly found in the form of knots or laces, for rein security during speed events. Traditionally offered in leather and nylon options, we also have fun-colored reins to match your apparel and horse tack!
Western Trail Reins
Western trail reins can be used for your at-home training, ranch work, or trail needs. They're often longer in length to accommodate for your horse putting their head down to eat and drink while you're out and about. You will find woven, round, leather, and synthetic options in our selection of trail reins.

Western Split Reins
Classic split reins are two separate reins that individually attach to either side of the bit; they are not continuous. Normally made from leather in different thicknesses, weights, and lengths, find a set to complement your tack and preferences. They're versatile and suitable for any of your Western riding needs!
Western Show & Romal Reins
Commonly used for show events like Western pleasure, romal (or 'romel') reins feature a long quirt/portion attached to a continuous, looped rein. The rider is typically seen holding the reins in one hand, and the quirt in another hand. Originating from vaquero traditions, romal reins can also be used for trail or on the working ranch.
