Great Fly BootsMy thoroughbred princess despises flies. Once fly season begins, the fly mask, sheet, and boots go on. I've used a few different types of fly boots, but I was interested in testing the Weatherbeeta boots because they are a cross between an open style and a form-fitting one. I also appreciated the height, which goes above the knee. I did find that they slipped down a bit; however, they still provide more coverage than typical fly boots. The velcro is sturdy and strong, and I haven't had any issues with my busy-body mare who thinks her clothes are play items. My only complaint is the lack of structure, which causes the boots to rotate. They still function, but I do make sure that they come off once a day to clean out the debris and put them back on straight. Overall, great fly boot!
Best fly boots I’ve tried so far!I have tried a few different fly boots for my horse and these are by far the best. The material is soft and flexible—not stiff like others that rub or irritate. They mold comfortably to my horse’s legs and are super adjustable, so I can get just the right fit without worrying about them slipping. He’s clearly more comfortable in these and they’ve held up great so far.
