Measuring Guide:
Collect both measurements while seated with the leg at a 90 degree angle using a cloth measuring tape. Wear the breeches and socks that you would wear while measuring. Have an additional person take the measurements for best accuracy.
For Calf Height - Measure from where the heel rests on the ground to the bend of the knee. Add approximately 1/2-3/4" in height to allow for drop.
For Calf Width - Measure the circumference of the widest part of the calf.

Comments: These are lovely boots. No break-in time and super comfortable. Unfortunately, they don't last long. Within 2 months, the grippy inside part started peeling away from the boot. No way to fix it as it's not leather. One of the boots also slides down when riding even though they are tight to put on. So some pros and cons. Honestly, I don't think they're worth over $100. Wish I had gotten something else that would last longer.

Comments: These are lovely, comfortable boots. The leather is supple and nice. A note on fit, however: if your calf size is between two shaft widths, consider choosing the slimmer boot shaft. My calf measures 14" and I bought size 8 Regular. There is about half an inch of room protruding from the back of the calf. I did contact Riding Warehouse before purchasing for advice on whether to choose Slim or Regular, and was advised to take Regular. Turns out to be too much room at the widest part of the calf.

Comments: I love these as schooling boots. They are soft, inexpensive, and grippy with little or no break-in. This makes them super convenient as when they eventually wear out I just have a new pair at my door in two days from Riding Warehouse. They are very comfortable to ride in and to walk around the barn in. I ride multiple horses a day (jumpers) and also do some chores in them because I can't be bothered to switch footwear constantly and I still get a good year's use out of them even with this heavy wear. I will note, however, that Tuffrider has fixed their sizing. DO NOT size up anymore! I usually wear a 7.5 and would always order an 8.5 because Tuffrider boots ran notoriously small. This last pair however is absolutely gigantic on me; my feet are swimming! The comparison between my old 8.5's and the new ones is crazy. The new ones are MUCH bigger. I am going to keep the last pair of 8.5's I ordered as backups since I was impatient and rode in them quite a bit and order my normal 7.5 size.

Comments: Super soft boots! I wear insoles in all of my boots for additional comfort. Foot size runs small. I usually wear a 7 - 7 1/2 and I had to exchange for an 8 in these (without insoles). Riding Warehouse has exceptional customer service and my exchange was absolutely painless. Love this company!

Comments: Very comfortable boots. I usually ride in half chaps so expected a painful break-in period. That didn't happen. Pros: soft leather, true to size, no break-in, can feel the horse well, very reasonably priced. Cons: even the extra-slim is too big for me but no fault of the boot. No reasonably priced boots fit me. The sole is rather thin and could hurt the feet after many hours of riding. I put some Good Feet insole in them and now they are fine. I had to wear the boots a little before they stretched enough to fit the insoles. Even if my legs were bigger, the flap over the zipper can pooch out. I don't show so that is ok but if I did, that might bother me. For the price, I am pleased with them. They run narrow, which works for me.
