Total Saddle Fit SLIM Stability Stirrup Leathers
Overview
The Total Saddle Fit SLIM Stability Stirrup Leathers have a unique design that provides extra leg stability during your ride.
While traditional stirrup leathers are narrow with a long length that allows the two layers to shift and rotate, the TSF wide-body design broadens the body of the leather. This keeps the stirrup leather from twisting, providing both comfort and extra stability. The SLIM design also features buckle adjustment at the bottom so only one layer of leather is under your leg. This even allows them to rotate your stirrup perpendicular to your horse, eliminating strain on your knees and ankles.
Crafted with high-quality materials, these leathers feature 4mm buffalo hide at the wide portion and nylon-lined calfskin at the remaining parts. Together, this creates durability and keeps the bulk to a minimum. Whether you jump, do dressage, or even just trail ride, the TSF leathers are a great choice for any English rider.

SLIM Stability Stirrup Leathers are designed deliberately in two styles, either JUMP (Brown) or DRESSAGE (Black) in sizes SM, MD, or LG, which fit like 48″, 54″, and 60″ traditional leathers, respectively.
More specifically the size ranges are as follows:
Jump & Dressage Small: 18-22 inches
Jump Medium: 19-23.5 inches
Dressage Medium: 21-26.5 inches
Dressage Large: 22-28 inches
Maximum saddle flap length (measured top of stirrup bar to bottom of flap):
Jump Small: 15 inches
Jump Medium: 16 inches
Dressage Medium: 17 inches
Dressage Large: 18.5 inches
Please Note: Due to the unique design of the SLIM Stability Stirrup Leathers, the irons (stirrups) cannot be “run up” onto the saddle flap for storage. They must be crossed over the seat of the saddle instead (or left in place).

Comments: I've been using these between my jump and dressage saddles. The stability they provide is noticeable from the beginning, and I no longer have buckles digging into my thigh muscles, which also adds stability to my ride. The only problem I have with these is that they don't come in a shorter length! I purchased the brown Medium size and they work best on my dressage saddle; I'm 5'8, 165 lbs and have around a 35" inseam. Generally, I'm considered to have longer legs, but if this is true, these leathers run quite long. I'm hoping TSF will come out with a 48" so I can purchase a second set to use exclusively on my jump saddle; I'm rolling the pair I have for now. I do ride a bit short in my leathers, but I've never had a problem with 54" normal leathers. These leathers are great quality and are holding up nicely. The sleeves up the underside for the extra leather are snug and soft leather, which made me feel better about using them on my soft leather dressage saddle.
