The Toklat T3 Matrix Woolback Shim Round Skirt - Ortho-Impact utilizes Superior Impact Protection inserts to provide your equine-athlete with the protection they deserve. The shims allow you to easily customize the fit to your horse and saddle by inserting additional shims in specific areas. A non-slip military-grade top keeps your saddle in place, and the 100% natural virgin wool lining provides additional shock absorption and moisture wicking for optimal comfort. The lightweight pad has a contoured shape for a round skirt saddle, close-contact leg design, and wear leathers for long-lasting construction.
T3 Matrix Bio-Kinetic Ortho-Impact Saddle Pad Inserts are also included with the saddle designed for athletic performance and general schooling. These inserts are especially beneficial for stabilizing the saddle for riders needing more back support and compensating for horse conformation problems. Featuring a 3/8 layer of high-density Extreme Pro Poron® XRD™ foam to minimize concussion over a 1/2" layer of medium density viscoelastic foam offering stabilizing support for both horse and rider.

WoolBack® virgin knit-wool fleece is resilient, durable pile material offering superior moisture wicking and heat dispersal with high breathe-ability, concussion protection, and comfort. WoolBack fleece is natural white in color.

Poron® XRD™ with Microban® antimicrobial protection is high performance open-cell foam that absorbs 90% of impact energy from the rider and saddle on the horses back, as well as minimizing the energy bounce back as the rider lands in the saddle; thus, allowing for a more stable, comfortable seat for both horse and rider. The supporting layer of medium density viscoelastic foam offers additional cushioning protection without restricting range of motion.
Ergonomic Design features inserts with a longer front to complement the natural contour of the horse's shoulder to provide a custom fit that supports muscle development without interfering with important muscle groups.
