Would Recommend
Tough, easy to use and reduces waste.I've had this hay net for almost 2 years now and it's great! Super tough, never had any holes or anything come apart even when my mare walks all over it and poops on it. Love that it's easy to put on and tighten up. It was a bit of a learning curve but figured out a way and now I can do it by myself in a couple minutes. It's also easy to come back through and tighten it as they eat the bale down. I wish they sold other size holes on here! I would love 2.5" or even 2".

Would Recommend
Great for minimizing round bale wasteI have three older Arabians that I can no longer leave on lush, green pastures. For the past few years, I've put out round bales for them instead. I tried loose bales before adding a bale ring. The horses always found ways to pee and poo on loose hay, so much of the bale went to waste. Then I tried the Texas Haynet combined with the hay ring. The horses now eat the bale down with very little waste. Usually the net comes off when there is about 25 percent of the bale left. The net is easy to apply to the bale and stays on well. My current net is two years old and does have a few holes. I highly recommend if you want to reduce round bale waste.

Great for reducing waste!Of course, it takes a month for the horses to get used to the net, but after my horses adjusted, they are so happy and spending more of the day doing what they love - eating! And the waste is so much less, I mean there's still some waste, but nothing compared to when I didn't have the nets. And they offer a repair kit for destructive horses so you don't have to repair it with janky twine.
