Nice little saddleYou know, a lot of people bicker about Tough 1. There's so many mixed reviews. I was a little hesitant myself to purchase this at first from a small tack store here. To be honest I wasn't disappointed. I'm happy I took a chance! It's a nice sturdy little saddle that's taken quite a beating from colt starting. The thing still looks brand new. Decent, quality straps hold everything tight, and I'm grateful they didn't cheap out on the tie straps! The latigo doesn't come with holes punched, so you may have to do that, but personally it doesn't bother me. It does sit a little lower, so due to this I had to use a smaller girth for some of the horses. Nice quality back cinch comes with it, and I went out and got a decent tooled girth just to match. ;)
It's been comfortable for a hard seat. I could sit in it all day. For trail riding it's been alright. I go through harsher trails out here on the sides of mountains and it definitely works out! Been pretty decent for all around ranch work and sorting. It's light enough I can fling it around and mind you I'm a 5ft female.
