Sierra View Ranch I.C.E. UltraLite Carabiner Clip-On
Overview
The newest in the line of in-case-of-emergency products, the Sierra View Ranch I.C.E. UltraLite Carabiner Clip-On was inspired by competitive trail riders who needed a lightweight product to stay attached to the horse for the entire competition! Whether headed down the trail or preparing for a natural disaster, this clip provides a no-halter-needed way to ensure your information stays with your horse.
This handy carabiner easily hooks through a braid, ensuring your essential information is secure and highly visible. Weighing less than 3/4 ounce, this lightweight clip-on is comfortable for your horse while the aluminum carabiner is extremely durable, so as long as the braid is intact, the UltraLite will stay put. Also an excellent choice to keep an ID on your horse when camping, this safety aid works well clipped to your own belt. Make sure both you and your equine friend always have an ID attached.

Natural Disaster Preparation:
If you're in an area with a season of wildfires or other natural disasters, consider keeping an UltraLite on each animal full-time during that season.
We recommend using two or three elastic bands (top, middle and bottom) on each braid and be diligent about checking the integrity of the braid daily. Be sure to replace the elastic before it shows wear or weakness.
In extreme weather conditions such as hurricane or tornado, you may also wish to finish the braid with duct tape to ensure the braid stays intact. Duct tape will not slide off the braid as an elastic may do.

Comments: This product is awesome! Mine have stayed in place for 8 weeks now. My four horses wear them full time in the summer in case of fires!
