Customer Reviews
Shoofly Leggins are the bestMy horses were constantly stomping so hard, and with the flies biting their legs, they were irritable. I got the Shoofly Leggins and they are amazing! My horses can stand quietly now and enjoy their food. Irritability gone. Love these boots!
Great Protective SolutionI have a 17hh, thin-boned OTTB and the mediums fit front and hinds well. I bought these fly boots because I needed a solution to keeping a medication for scratches from rubbing off, plus to try to keep the legs dry and protected from the sun. He lives 24/7 in an irrigated pasture and hates wraps of any kind so it’s not easy. They worked very well for this purpose because they retain their shape and don’t rub the legs at all plus obviously do well at keeping the bugs off. The Velcro is extremely sticky and it seems like they have enough airflow to not get the legs hot, plus they wash easily.
ExcellentExcellent product. Excellent order fulfillment and shipping speed. Thank you!
Customer service is non existentThis item was in pristine new condition upon return with all tags attached and original packaging. The company wanted to charge a restock fee. It is my opinion that ALL returns , no matter the condition, are charged a restock fee as a matter of policy. I will not order from Riding Warehouse again. As a new customer I expected better. Their customer service was dismal to say the least. Buyer beware.

Surprisingly effectiveNever thought these particular boots would be any good but they are. They are well made and less of a hassle to put on than others. 4 stars only because it remains to be seen how long they last.
Does the jobWonderful solution to flies.
Best Fly Boots EverThese are perfect for my sensitive TB. No more stomping! He wears these 24/7 in turnout and I no longer worry about rubs or debris getting caught in them. Have not had them long enough to comment about longevity but so far so good.
Decent qualityThey lasted last summer and into this summer. The Velcro held up really well. They didn't cause any rubs. They started sagging a little end of last summer. This spring the plastic supports started wearing through and finally had to let 2 of the 4 go. Keeping the other 2 as backups. But well worth the $40 I spent on them last year.
Best fly leg protection I've found.I've used several different brands of fly boots, but Shoofly's have been the most durable and effective. They stay up, don't rub my horse's legs or cause rubs, and they're fairly hard for him to take off (he's good at undoing Velcro). The bright orange makes them easy to find when he's in the field. I've also had a couple of blue pairs, but they're harder to spot.
They work, period. These are the best stay-up boots that work. My mare has severe fly bite allergies, and her legs end up bloody if they're not covered all summer. These last sometimes two seasons of 24/7 wear. The only fly control boots I’ve seen that work.
The best fly bootsThe best fly boots I have used. They fit a variety of sizes and don’t rub. Even my most sensitive gelding does well with these.
Great fly protection bootsThese boots have been a lifesaver for my horses these past few years. They provide so much relief for them during fly season and keep them from stomping all day. I have different sizes for different horses and they all fit well and I've never had a problem with my horses losing them in turnout. Unfortunately, they do show wear after a couple of months and I usually have to replace them every other season. However, that's about what I'd expect from boots worn 24/7 and I'll keep coming back for more.
Best fly leg bootsI’ve been using shoofly for about 2 yrs every Spring/summer in Texas. They stay on with no rubbing and they provide great protection. This year, I have all my 4 wearing it this summer. It stopped stumping and the discomfort from annoying flies. I strongly recommend Shoofly!
Already falling apart after 3 weeksI am so disappointed! I’ve always heard how marvelous Shoo Fly boots are. Several folks I know use them. But I’d also heard rumors that the quality has declined and I fear that is the case. My gelding has worn these for less than 3 weeks and the stays are already popping out. He’s not too hard on his clothes but can be playful. But that’s why I bought these because they are supposed to be durable. The quality is just not there. Will not purchase again. But a quick shoutout to RW for getting them to us so quickly. Love shopping with y’all!

Comments: These are the BOMB! Crazy as they look, they work, they don't rub, and they are cool. My boys love them. Stomp, stomp, stomp is no longer. I have a full set for everyone. When they get pee splatter on them I toss them in the washing machine (front load) and line dry. They come out bright and clean. Easy to take on and off.
