Made to lightly dust, spread natural oils, and polish the horse's coat, these brushes are gentle on skin and hair. Bristles bend easily and flick dust and debris off. They can also be called "finishing" brushes.
Medium

Often containing multiple bristle materials, these brushes dust while also grabbing larger chunks of debris. Medium brushes are tougher on grime, skin, and hair yet still have flexible bristles.
Stiffest

Meant for raking dirt and debris off the coat, these bristles are not flexible and are toughest on skin and hair. Large clumps of debris and loose hair get trapped in the inflexible bristles and are brushed off.

The Shires EZI- GROOM Premium Wood Soft Face Brush features a small lacquered, beech wood block with anatomical finger indentations for ultimate comfort. The curved shape helps push dirt away and is more comfortable for the hand to hold. Soft, synthetic bristles knock away dirt, mud, and dust gently over the sensitive areas of the face.
