Overview
When your horse puts its head down to eat or drink Rein Safe Rein Extender & Holder prevents your reins from falling over your horse's neck, keeping you both safer! Unlike other rein extenders that can be in the way, Rein Safe's unique design only comes into play once your horse puts their head down. By securely attaching the extender to the saddle, you never have to think about grabbing the reins in a hurry as the adjustable strap allows you to achieve the perfect length. If your horse ever becomes loose, this nifty device will safely keep reins off the ground so they won't become entangled in your horse's legs.

Customer Reviews
A favorite tack accessoryOne of my old "Rein Safe" rein holders finally gave out after almost 10 years so I just bought another to replace it. This new one actually has a stronger carabiner than the previous version. Easy to use. The scissor snap clips onto a saddle ring and the carabiner clips onto the reins and keeps them them from dropping out of reach. Very happy with the quality and function of this product.
Junk carabinerThe carabiner is so cheaply made. Unfinished edges are sharp enough to cut. The strap & clip are so-so quality. I know 10 bucks is not a big spend these days but this is like a bad dollar store item, worth maybe $2.50. I returned & made my own with a nylon dog collar & better carabiner.
Rein ExtenderI've been using this on the trail. It's nice being able to drop the rein safely to allow my horse to get a drink or snack. It's also nice for me to be able to use my hands for trimming the trail or to get myself a drink or snack.

Comments: Such a useful product, never have to worry about dropping your reins again, and never have to lean over to let your horse drink water or grab a bite. I initially had an issue with a defect, but Riding Warehouse and the manufacturer immediately corrected the problem. I am more than happy with their response!
