Measuring Guide:
Collect both measurements while seated with the leg at a 90 degree angle using a cloth measuring tape. Wear the breeches and socks that you would wear while measuring. Have an additional person take the measurements for best accuracy.
For Calf Height - Measure from where the heel rests on the ground to the bend of the knee. Add approximately 1/2-3/4" in height to allow for drop.
For Calf Width - Measure the circumference of the widest part of the calf.

Comments: I received my Ovation boots tonight and oh my god they fit me like a glove, leather is soft and supple so no brake in time. These are my first tall boots. I could not find a size chart of these boots anywhere online. I am normally a size 8.5 to 9 with a 14.5" calf. I ordered an 8.0 wide. Sounds weird but order a half size down for the foot and a size up for the calf. I got lucky and guessed right. The leather is super soft and thin so I don't expect them to last with everyday riding but I bought these strictly for show. Hope this review helps.
