Comments: Nice chaps. I ride in them 6+ times per week, and they have held up nicely. I was initially skeptical about purchasing synthetic chaps before, as I have always used leather, but these are wonderful and I love being able to clean them with a damp rag, definitely quicker than using saddle soap! My only complaint is the little Ovation "pendant" on one of the chaps. It bugs me when it clinks against my leg. It is not heavy enough to physically feel, but the sound is a little annoying.

Comments: UPDATE: The buttons on the half chaps are VERY stiff and extremely difficult to snap shut. Half the time I have to go to my lesson with the button undone because I don't have the time and patience to spend forever messing with the button to get it closed. I managed to get them closed when I rode yesterday, but when I unsnapped the button, the button popped out of the half chap through the bottom! The snapped button was only attached to the top piece that you fold over, meaning that it now does not button. Whatsoever. I am disappointed and will most likely try and reattach the button and make them usable, because I like them otherwise, although I may go back to using Milstone half chaps, as I have never had a problem with their buttons.

Comments: These are great chaps for schooling and trail. I ride in them 2-5 times per week and they are quite comfortable, even in the hot weather. My only complaint is that, after only about a year of use, the stitching is ripping along the inside. It's too bad because otherwise these are great!

Comments: I just received my Ovation Half Chaps in the mail. They look very nice and much more expensive than their actual cost. I have a fairly wide calf 16-16.5 in. at the widest part, but I am also short (5'1). I was trying to decide between the medium and the large. I ended up ordering the large, and I'm glad I did. The large fits snuggly. I can zip them with just a little bit of effort and it feels like they'll stretch to be easier to zip in the future. If you are between the medium and large I recommend going with a bigger size. The height is pretty good on them as well. Overall a great product for the price. I hope they hold up - I'll try and update my review after I ride in them for a little bit. I definitely recommend these.

Comments: These chaps are very comfortable and I love wearing them. The material is stretchy so you can keep them while you grow, while still having a snug fit.
