LeMieux's Junior Vector Balance Stirrups are crafted from aviation-grade aluminum and are designed for junior riders. Prioritizing safety, the release mechanism on the hinged safety arm opens in the event of a fall and is triggered with less force than the adult stirrup design. The offset apex holds the stirrup at a 45° outward angle, making it easier to regain a lost stirrup, while the footbed is tilted 5° to help keep heels down and facilitate easy foot release. The texture of the stirrup pad is slightly smoother than the adult stirrup design to prevent a little foot from becoming caught.
