Big and EffectiveThis pick is really well made. It is definitely larger than the standard, plastic-handled picks that are easy to find, and it takes me far less time and effort to pick my Warmblood's hooves. I also recommend the artisan flick brush from the same line; it's a little stiff for my sensitive guy's body but is great for brushing off dirt on lower legs.
I wanted this to be betterI was really excited about this hoof pick. I had seen something similar when I was in England at an Expo and wished I had bought it then, but I honestly don't love it. I like the idea of a large brush, but this is almost too soft to do a good job. The pick is a little too large, and the handle feels big and awkward in my hand. I keep trying it, but then put it down and pick up my cheap, 2-dollar, plastic one.
