Comments: My all-time favorite spring/summer breeches. Nothing else compares in comfort, fit, cooling technology, grip, and style. I own four pairs in different colors--some are several seasons old. They can get a little pilly on high-rub areas, like the insides of your thighs, but that only happened to me after years of hard use.

Comments: All I can say is WOW! I am so impressed with the Ice Fil Tight I had to get another pair! They are comfortable and lightweight, making them perfect for warm weather riding. I'd wear them all day every day if it I could. These are a great addition to any wardrobe!

Comments: These tights are a must for hot weather riding. They're lightweight, with convenient side pockets and the silicone gripper carrots on the inner thighs are a nice design feature. I've been wearing mine for three summers, and they're still in great shape--just a little pilling between my legs and a small pinhole in the side pocket. I'm saving up for a black pair for fun shows!

Comments: These tights do as advertised - the fabric is light and cools well; pockets are a big plus. However, there are many disappointments, particularly with respect to their durability and fit. The fabric is quite stretchy, which inclines it to sag when something of any weight is in a pocket. The fabric around the waistband has stretched in the wash and not shrunk back (belt loops would have been great!). The fabric also has a tendency to snag very easily (even on non-pointy objects) and has ripped in several places as a result (the same encounters would not have snagged, let alone torn, my Irideons or previous Kerrits). I noticed no difference in stickiness with the silicone; these would have benefited from knee patches, as the fabric is pilling and wearing hard on those areas. They also seem to have faded somewhat in the sun. I am 5'7" and around 125lbs and got a medium. It fit well at first, but has since stretched out a bit in the thighs and hips. They are a bit long for me (which also means the bottom of the pockets sit a bit low) and very loose in the ankle. They do what I bought them to do (cool, with pockets), but I'm quite disappointed in the durability. They've been used around 5 days a week for 2 months, 1 ride but up to 8 hours of wearing. They'll last one summer, but two would likely be pushing it.

Comments: Love the soft cool fabric but hate the waist band. Low rise and it twists. If they would fix that, I would only use these in summer but the waist band is really a problem for me.

Comments: I was pleasantly surprised at how nice these tights are. I had read some mixed reviews elsewhere. The fabric is super comfy and feels nice and cool on the skin. These are going to be great for camp week in the hot sun.

Comments: I got size Small in Grape to go with a couple of Kerrits summer shirts. They fit true to size for me: tall with a 26.5 inch waist and long inseam. The inseam on my pair is 28 inches. They are very stretchy, soft and comfortable. In Arizona's summers, any breeches (or pants for that matter) feel too hot so these are probably the coolest riding pants available because of the Icefil fabric. They are thin and probably should not be worn for barn chores-one could put on a light pair of pants over them to keep them nice. Who would want to wear such a nice outfit for doing dusty chores anyway? My pair has two pockets-a bonus. I like not having traditional full seat/knee patches which make breeches hot and they aren't necessary when I am just doing ground work or liberty work, but I can still have the classy look of English breeches - no offense (I used to ride in jeans), but all the cowgirls around here can keep their sweltering jeans to ride in!

Love these tights. Very soft, comfortable fit. I'm 5'9 150, got large, great for me. Good amount of grip, more than knee patch, not as much as full seat. Pocket deep enough to have my iPhone in it and never falls out. Light enough for warm weather.

Comments: They are cooler than my other riding tights, and the kerrit sticks make them breathable. They're not slippery to ride in, and they stretch nicely. They do run slightly small though, so if you're between sizes, I would recommend ordering a size up. :)

Comments: I have several different styles of Kerrits tights that I love, so I thought I'd try these now that the weather is getting warm. The fabric is wonderful - very lightweight, and it actually does seem to help with cooling (as far as I could tell trying them on while sitting around my house). I also like the idea of the grippy carrots, which don't impede mobility at all. Unfortunately, the fit is bizarre. The legs are super tight, to the point where I could barely get them on, and once they were on it was nearly impossible to rotate the fabric to get the carrots where they should be. This wouldn't be such a big deal, but the waist is also really loose. It was starting to sag after just a few minutes of walking around the house, and I found myself hitching them up a couple of times. I know for a fact that this would drive me absolutely nuts if I were to wear them for an extended period of time. Kerrits, the concept of the fabric + grippy carrots is awesome! Please just make a style that fits more like the Flow Rise tights.

Comments: Love the fun new colors! I have the turquoise pair; as well as many others! They really do a great job of keeping you cool in the heat, but are also a great tight to wear when it's cool outside, because they are so comfortable. Also, the little "Kerrits" are sticky and add a nice touch to such a perfect tight.

Comments: Love these tights!!! So comfortable! They do what they claim and keep you cooler than any other riding tight I've tried. We ride in the hot, humid FL summers and I am so glad a friend recommended these. Beware, they do snag easily, and show every flaw in your legs. I just make sure to wear an extra-long shirt to cover my bum :)

Comments: I returned the first pair I bought because the seam tore after about 5 rides. However, they were so comfortable, I bought another pair! This pair tore at one of the seams on the first use, but the tear didn't go all the way through and I needed a comfy pair for a ride coming up so I kept them. I really love how comfortable they are, but they have zero lasting ability.

Comments: I'm 5'4" 130 lbs, and ordered a medium... Which I thought fit well at first, but have stretched a bit over the last 4 months. I love these tights for the cooling aspect, the great pockets, and the comfort, however, as mentioned in the other reviews, they do snag easily, and are so super stretchy that they sag and twist some. It'd be great if Kerrits could add some compression to them. Even with the negatives, I'm ordering a second pair, and will try a small this time.

Comments: I loved my original pair of these tights from 2019 but the quality and fit have gone downhill with the new ones (purchased spring 2021). My first pair finally bit the dust after two years of riding about three times a week. They ended up with one hole where the fabric got caught in my half chap zipper, a second hole that mysteriously appeared on the other calf about a month before I finally tossed them out, and the knees were threadbare and badly stretched. But they looked decent for the first 1.5 years before they reached a tipping point and started to disintegrate, and they never tore during the many times that I snagged them on trees and bushes.
Sadly, I have little hope that my new pair will last this long, as the stitching around one of the ankles started to come undone after one washing. Also, the fit seems to have changed - bigger in the waist and tighter in the legs. This is a bad combo as the tight legs create a downward pull on the waist, and since that area is a little too loose, it tends to ride down. I find myself having to hitch up the waist about every ten minutes, sometimes more often during a posting trot. I don't know what sort of body type Kerrits had in mind when they redesigned the fit as I have a pretty large waist, and if anything, most pants are a little too small for me in this area. But if I went down a size the legs and butt would be way too tight. This is not my first issue with newer Kerrits products (I recently tried a pair of their boots that started to come apart in multiple places after one ride), and I'm sad that their construction and QC have declined as I really like the concept of a lo t of their products.

Comments: In my search for the 'as-perfect-as-possible' riding pants I've ended up with more breeches in my closet than I care to admit - even to myself. I've gotten special-ordered, customized ones, compression, non-compression, thick, thin, high, low - you name it. And... I think these are my overall favorite. There is never going to be one pair that is ideal for every situation, however, for everyday use here in Northern California, these are the comfiest, great fit, looks great pair that I've - thus far - come across. As a nerdy classical dressage rider, feel is a top priority for me in the saddle, these are excellent for that. The first time I wore them, I realized as I was walking my horse down a trail as a warm-up that I felt as though I was naked!
