Customer Reviews
Good quality ergo bridle for price! This bridle is very pretty with the patent details and crystal browband. I thought the quality was pretty good, considering this is a mid-range priced bridle. The cob size fit my chunky headed half arabian well. The ergonomic nosepiece sits in a nice place away from cheek bones and nerves. I like that the caveson has a pad and isn't a crank. Although the pad does seems rather wide and if my horse had a very refined head, it might feel too wide on the jaw. Overall, a nicely made ergo bridle for the price.
Awesome customer service! This is the second Kavalkade bridle I’ve bought for my pony, and I absolutely love both of them. Very happy with the customer service from Riding Warehouse!

Comments: Beautiful and well-made bridle, definitely worth the price! I've struggled with the fit of some other Kavalkade items before but this one is perfect. I love the way it looks and I only had to punch one hole in the caveson to be able to tighten it enough. I love that the caveson is not a crank. I love the blingy browband more than I thought I would also, it's beautiful and I get a lot of compliments. I've seen other reviews complaining about the reins because they are narrow, but frankly I almost think the reins alone are worth the price of the bridle because they minimize bulk in your hands and are very grippy and easy to maintain.

Comments: This bridle is adorable but I wouldn't recommend it if you plan to use it as is. (Read further) I bought it for my cute mare. She requires an O/S browband, Horse noseband and throat latch and Cob cheek pieces. It fits 100% true to size. The noseband issue everyone is describing is all due to it not having a crank. It's darn near impossible to get it snug enough so that it doesn't gap. It's super supple good leather. But 150% tug effort is required to get the dang thing to where only 2 fingers fit under it. I fully intend to cut off the stock noseband and put a crank on it. It will then be perfect. How dumb to offer a patent dressage bridle but then put a stupid non-crank noseband on it. Just saying. My mare has a short head and she is on the highest cheek piece hole. If you are in between horse and cob, try the cob...the browband is generous enough that it shouldn't be too small. The throat latch is perfectly fine as well. The reins are crap but well made. They are so teeny thin. Fit for a toddler's hands. I'm going to save them and use them on a double if that day comes. They are perfect for that since they are only about a cm in width and also super thin. I'm a giant Amazonian woman and need big girl reins.
