The Kavalkade Foster Comfort Dressage Girth with Faux Fur is ideal for horses that have a sensitive girth area. The girth is extremely soft with robust padding and is designed in an anatomical 'hourglass' shape, with a wider center section tapering to narrower sections behind the legs. This girth, part of Kavalkade's Foster-Comfort collection, is constructed using oiled leather for a smoother and more durable girth. During the tanning process, the leather is placed in vegetable oils; the pores of the leather open and the oils penetrate deep into the leather. The result is a rich color and durable long life. This special process creates a material with excellent grip and also prevents the leather from drying out too quickly. Finished with a center D-ring for a martingale or training attachments.

Cleaning Instructions: 

The faux fur can be removed by using velcro attachments and washed in warm water (30° C / 86° F). Hand wash or use a gentle cycle. Dirt on the leather parts of the girth should be removed with a cloth or sponge; treat with appropriate leather care products. If being stored for long periods of time, clean thoroughly and store in a bag to protect it from sunlight, dust, and moisture.
