Made from the finest plush pelts available, JMS truly leaves the competition behind. The natural hide underside clings to the saddle for a no-slip fit. Easily attaches with a strong elastic strap attachment that runs under the saddle gullet and attaches with Velcro. The standard size fits saddle seat size 17.5" and under.
These plush seat covers have 1" thick Merino wool pile, assuring comfort on long rides, trekking in all weather. JMS uses only premium Merino Sheepskin pelts imported from Australia and they are thick, soft, and the most durable available. JMS hand-traces and hand-cuts their products at their ranch in Southern Arizona.

Materials:
While other materials trap heat and moisture and need to be perforated to allow heat/moisture to escape sheepskin's performance actually improves with moisture content. Each fiber contains many chambers that naturally store liquid, becoming more plump and elastic with increased moisture, translating into effective relief of pressure points and creating a vital protective layer between your saddle and your horse's back.
Care Suggestions:
To clean, simply machine wash on gentle, or by hand, with cool water and mild soap. Air dry out of the sun. Use a vacuum or brush to keep the wool pile fluffy.
