Waist Rise
-
Low
Low-rise jeans sit low on or below the hips. These jeans often measure seven to eight inches from the waistband to the fork (where the legs meet the crotch).
-
Mid
Mid-rise jeans sit between the hips and the navel, just below the natural waist. This is the most common rise option offered in jeans.
-
High
High-rise jeans have the longest distance from the waistband to the fork, sitting near to or above the belly button. They can give the appearance of longer legs.

Previous Feedback
Comments: I just got these today. I am 140lbs, 5'5" with a 28" inseam. These will be great for riding in the mountains. I had been wearing hiking pants but lost so much weight they got too big. The only negative so far (before using them) is that the length is crazy long. I got regular and will need to hem them 4". I like riding pants long enough to go over boots but I have a 28" inseam. I might send these back for a short or hem them. Otherwise, they seem really nice.

Comments: I bought a pair of these riding pants with the highest of hopes. They fit well and are comfortable both in and out of the saddle, but I was disappointed that the silicone pattern wore off after only a few rides. I still wear them, but they just aren't very "sticky" anymore. Other than that, they are nice to ride in.

Comments: Don't buy these pants!!!! Waste of money. I had been an Irridion fan for years but this is the biggest disappointment. I wouldn't pay $15 for these at Walmart. The fabric is cheap and the sizing is done by a 3-year-old. Quality is so bad for the price!!!

RW Response: We heard back from the manager at Toklat and these trail pants are designed quite differently than regular Irideon tights. Therefore, if you are a fan of Irideon tights/breeches, you may not be used to this style. They designed the Terra as more of a trail pant, tailored to the trail riding customer, who would normally ride in jeans, not necessarily breeches or tights. The fabric is of good quality and is the same material that the brand Columbia uses in its apparel. This pant should be considered an alternative for riders who ride in jeans, but find them uncomfortable and/or would prefer a looser fitting pant for riding than a tight or breech can offer. That is why they changed the sizing to that of 2, 4, 6 versus XS, S, M, etc. Please let us know if you have any further questions or comments and we would be happy to assist you!
