Recommended Care:
1. Dirt Removal
Use a soft-bristled brush to remove dust or sand residue, paying special attention to areas near the sole and heel.
2. Deep Cleaning
With a damp sponge or microfiber cloth, gently clean the boot's surface. Don't forget exposed points such as the lower zip guard and spur rest area.
3. Leather Soap Treatment
Apply a leather-specific cleaner, preferably with natural ingredients. Gently work it in using a soft cloth or sponge. Spread evenly, focusing on seams and natural leather folds.
4. Polishing
Once dry, use a polishing product with a dedicated brush or dry cloth. Apply polish evenly, preferably on the outer part of the leg shaft to avoid making the inner side slippery
5. Nourishment and Protection
Leather, being a living material, needs hydration. Apply quality leather grease or oil to keep it elastic and durable over time.
6. Storage
Store boots in a dry place away from direct heat sources (like sunlight or radiators). Use boot trees to maintain shape and prevent creases or shaft collapse.
Sizing
How to Determine Your Size:
Measurements must be taken while wearing riding pants and socks that you would normally wear. A flexible tape measure is recommended for the most precise results.
These boots come in 10 sizes, from 36 to 45, according to standard European sizing, which corresponds with men's U.S. sizing from 4 1/2 to 11 1/2, and with women's sizes 6 to 13.
Step 1: Once you've determined your foot size, you can proceed to measuring your calf's circumference. Take measurements while standing up, without shoes, and with straight legs slightly apart. Having another person help you take your measurements would be ideal. While standing, measure the circumference of your calf at its widest point. Be sure that the tape measure remains horizontal without being too tight or too loose when wrapped around your calf. If your calves produce different measurements, use the larger measurement of the two.
Step 2: Measure the circumference of your knee just below the kneecap. This is where the boot's zipper ends, which is also the highest part of the boot. This also corresponds to the back of the knee, where it bends.
Step 3: Lastly, measure for boot height from the floor to the crease at the back of your knee. Take this measurement barefoot or only wearing socks. This measurement should only be taken from the back and not from the front or sides. You must add 1 cm (3/8 inch) up to a maximum of 1.5 cm (5/8 inch) to the height measurement for the boots to naturally adapt to you.
