The Explora Magic Hoof Boots offer unbeatable versatility to keep your horse's hooves protected no matter where your ride takes you.

These lightweight, low-maintenance hoof boots feature fully customizable fitting options, adapting both vertically and horizontally. They can even be thermoformed in the lower half of the boot's wall to adapt to different angles and irregularities if needed. Designed to offer comfort and freedom for your horse, these boots have a soft and breathable padded liner, an active frog that allows for flexibility and connection with the ground, side windows for natural hoof expansion, and an all-terrain sole with drainage holes for use on even those wet trails. In addition, the shape of the sole allows for the pushing force of stepping to fall on the heel area instead of the soft bulb area, supporting natural movement. Available in a variety of colors, the Explora Magic boots can even be coordinated to match your other gear.

Please Note: Due to the nature of hoof boots, which are often put under much tension and strain, Explora Boots returned due to being broken will only be given full store credit. If you experience an issue with a piece breaking, we sell replacement parts for every part of the Explora Boot. Please note that all replacement parts are sold separately, and not included with the purchase of an Explora Hoof Boot. Please contact our helpful customer service via phone or email if you have any questions or concerns!

Great trail bootThis is a great trail boot that absolutely stays on, no matter what the terrain or conditions. That said, it can be hard to get the size correct. The good news is that the return policy and customer service are excellent! So, give them a try.

Great bootsThis would be a 5 star, but one of the boots does twist even after adjusting. However, this only seems to happen at a gallop. Trotting and cantering the boots have been perfectly fine. Also, so far they haven't come off (knock on wood). Have had Scoot Boots and they would come off all the time.

Somewhat disappointingI used Scoot Boots before trying these boots because they were recommended by my trimmer. I have found them harder to fit than Scoot Boots and harder to fasten properly. They are bulkier than I thought.

Perfect for our riding needs!I have a mule who has absolutely amazing feet and generally speaking, does not need shoes or boots for our average ride. This year we have several big riding trips planned though, some of which will include riding in very rocky areas, through creeks, on wet rocky areas at the base of waterfalls, and generally speaking, slicker terrain than we regularly ride on. I didn't want to put shoes on him unless absolutely necessary. I was finding myself struggling to find the right boots for my tiny toes goofball until I stumbled across Explora Magic boots. Unfortunately I don't have endless resources to just dumped a fortune into countless boots to find the right one but feel like I hit the jackpot with Explora due to the adjustability factor. I will say, they were a bit of a bear to get all of the adjustments just right, but once we did, they are very straightforward to put on and take off. We have such a custom fit that I didn't feel the need to "over tighten" any of the straps. We took them for a spin this past Saturday and I was pleasantly surprised. I lunged him first and let's just say there is a reason we lunged first as he's just started cantering/loping with saddlebags. The "flapping" on the bags caused a bit of a bronc fest. Despite repeated bucking and acting crazy, the boots stayed on. We then went on a 10+ mile trail ride. Through deep sand, through creeks, mud/clay, on asphalt, rocky areas etc and they did wonderfully! No twisting. NO RUBBING! They were as good as I could have imagined plus some! So here I am, back to order a pair for his back hooves!

Explora Magic Hoof BootsBought two pair of the Explora Magic Hoof Boots. The fit is very snug as it is supposed to be, so it’s a little hard to put them on. Took a short trail ride and so far, no rubbing. I like them, and am happy I ordered them. Yes, I would recommend them.

New Favorite BootI have purchased and used just about every hoof boot on the market but these are my new favorites. I will admit that it took two tries to get the right size (minor measuring error) and that they are a bit tricky to get on, but oh are they ever worth the effort. I have learned that it’s best to undo both side straps and the front one to get them on. I have my gelding “stub” his toe a couple of times, then walk forward a couple steps to get the boot seated and then - magic! They don’t twist or rub and my thin soled OTTB was doing a gorgeous extended trot and gallop in them on day 1. He is so confident in these boots. No tripping or slipping. I use them in my sand arena and on the trail and gravel roads. Finally a perfect boot!

Excellent boot!I have these Explora Magic boots for my Arab who has fairly large feet with a low heel, and also for my gaited mare, who has tiny feet with a rather high heel. They stay on great for both of them. I love that they are adjustable and easy to get on and off. No velcro to lose stickiness in sand, mud or water, and no cables to break! The only thing I don’t like is the diamond shaped straps. They are much harder to get snug than the smooth ones. Most of my Exploras have smooth straps, but I bought 1 used boot from a friend that had the diamond strap. I’m not sure if it is an option or if that was just an older model. I used to use Renegades and Scoot Boots. These are amazing boots and I highly recommend them!

Great boots! My horse has long toes, low heels, and narrow feet, and despite these boots not fitting perfectly because of that, they still stay on well and don’t twist and rub. I rode through ankle deep mud and they stayed put. I've walked and trotted (haven’t loped yet wearing them) and he’s very comfortable.

They stay on!Love these boots! They have plenty of adjustment, are easy to clean and have stayed on in ankle deep mud in central NY. These are replacements for a previous set that wore a hole in a toe after 2 - 3 years. We do 350 - 500 miles a year.

ImpressedI have tried so many boots. At least 4 different brands and types. After some of them rubbed or would come off on the ride I decided to try the Explora Magic. My boy has smaller hooves but big heel bulbs. I liked how you could move things in the back to fit your horse. I found a video on Youtube on how to adjust them (just be patient as it can get annoying moving them back and you have to check it just right or you have to do it again). I still used a rubber mallet to put them on towards the end of a trim cycle. Stayed on and no rubs through sand, mud and water!

Our second pairWe bought our first pair 3 years ago and the toe of one finally wore a small hole. The old pair was very easy to put on and take off, and we only lost one in probably a hundred rides. The new straps along the side aren't quite as stretchy as the old ones, so this new pair isn't quite as easy to get on. They still ride like a dream, though, and the old ones worked great on my wife's mare last weekend. Previously she had not gone well in boots and they affected her gait, which these did not. Great boots!

Gaited horse Explora bootsThe Explora boots have worked well for my gaited horse who tends to fling any hoof boots into the wilds, never to be seen again. He has a high action and flicks his feet. These have actually stayed on. Tips for new users: If the side straps are hard to pull through spray a smidge of WD40 in the buckle. Then pull the strap back towards you like you would pull a belt if you were putting a belt on. Then hook in the appropriate hole. To get the boots on, get the hoof in as far as you can then have your horse put his foot down and step forward. This helps push the boot on. Repeat as necessary. Walk your horse around a bit then check for tightness. Adjust as necessary. On a long ride check for tightness when you stop for a break. I tightened mine up one hole after a couple hours riding. You may not need to but I put mine on tight as my horse is likely to fling them off. (Not these though - so far anyway) If they are hard to get off (this is a good thing as it means they are unlikely to fly off) pull the back heel part down then twist the boot part and they should come off fairly easily. We have ridden trails, gaited , cantered and jumped over obstacles in these boots. These are the best I have ever had in many years of trying hoof boots.

Super underrated bootI bought these for my horse with fairly round hooves. They’re really adjustable, and the price is pretty good compared to some other brands. I’ve ridden in swampy terrain, mud, creeks, rocks, and elevation and up to 26 miles at a time. They stay on with no rubbing or irritation. the only time I’ve had one turn is when the hoof was really overgrown and we were riding along the side a slick bank. The only part that’s a little annoying is that I've lost the hardware (the flush side, not the buckle side) for the pastern keeper multiple times despite experimenting with adjusting it tighter and looser. That being said, we were able to finish the last 10 miles of our ride without it, so more to the testament of how well these stay on. They’re really hard to replace when you’re out on trail, so I just carry mini zip ties with me now.

Great, sturdy boot and great company.I have not used boots in many many many years , so I decided to do lots of research comparing and contrasting before purchasing . These boots are not as well known as a lot of the other brands on market. However, they had everything on my wish list and more! I have only ridden one ride in it, and it was a 10 mile ride. We went through and even walked out into a lake. We walked, trotted, and cantered. My horse never tripped or lost a boot . So far my first impression is of a great boot!

Best fitting boot out there.I am using 4 Explora hoof boots on 3 different horses. They previously wore shoes. All 3 are different sizes. I love that they come in the narrow fit, and round hoof fit. These boots stay on even when foxhunting. I have an engineer's brain, so I know how to fit them within a 5 week trim cycle. I love that the side straps are tight, and the front ankle strap is loose. I love that the heel can be raised or lowered. The most important part is to be sure they don't twist before you tighten the side straps. These excellent boots allow my horses to be barefoot when I am not riding them.

LoveI did A LOT of research on all the top names people are using. I did pros and cons and these had everything and more. We own 2 horses, and took our first 6 mile ride this week in them. We went through creeks, out into a lake to cool off. No issues and no trips. Love them.

My favorite bootsI have had these boots in several sizes now for different horses and they are always my fave! I’ve tried other brands and styles, but the drainage in these, lack of clumpy fabric/gaiters and ability to stay on and protect can’t be beat. I’ve tried Easyboot Gloves, Fusions, and Cavallos and none of them work as well as these. I ride a lot of miles and I have yet to truly wear through a pair. I go thru the mountains, mud, rocks, lots of elevation gain and they hold solid!

Great Boots for Cantering! They are not easy to put on, but the snug fit is what keeps them on and they are fantastic! We added the Cavallo Therapeutic Gel Pads for Horse Hoof Boots as a cushion insert and they work great!

Explora Horse Boots Are GreatI have loved the front hoof boots after a summer of riding with them, so I bought 2 for the rear hooves. I have had a little trouble with them twisting but this is in between trims and I have a gaited horse who twists her rear step. I tightened them this last ride and had zero twist.

Awesome boots!I absolutely love these. Super easy to put on and they stay on. Very flexible and love the adjustable parts. I also have a different brand for my other horse and these are SO much easier to put on. I will be replacing those with these in the future.

Well made boots but…I really wanted these very well made boots to work for me, but they were just too difficult to get on. Pulling the rubber straps through the rubber flap was almost impossible because there is no friction to help it glide. I tried several times but just couldn’t get them on so sadly I had to return them.

Fits saddlebred horse.I bought these for the front hooves for my saddlebred. They fit him perfectly. They have never come off or rubbed during trail rides or arena work. I highly recommend them. I've had the same pair for two years and ride rocky trails, muddy trails, and flat and hilly trails three times a week. I canter long distances with them too and don’t even worry about them coming off because they never have. I would like to order some for rear hooves also.

Fits one, not the otherI love the Explora boots for my mare (size 2) and she appreciates them too. I recently purchased a pair for my gelding (size 3) because my vet/husband preferred the fit and break-over to the other boots I use. Unfortunately, the fit didn't work for my gelding. I'm very sad! Even after making adjustments and taking 2 test rides, my gelding "threw a shoe". That's never happened with my other boots. Too bad my gelding's pair won't fit any of our other horses. :( 4 stars only because they didn't work for my gelding. This is a 5 star product for my mare. They fit her great and this is her third endurance season in them. :) She wears them for competition, training rides 2 weeks before competing, and when the ground gets hard/dry as summer progresses.

RW Response: We are so sorry to hear about the difficulties you experienced with the fit for your gelding. We have alerted our customer service team, and they have reached out regarding how we can further assist!

So fussy to fasten and hard to unfastenThe boots seem quite solid and well fitting. My only complaint is how hard the top strap is to undo because of how tight the keeper is. I am having to use a hoof pick to get it started, which is fine when I get back to barn, but not wonderful in an emergency.

Great trail bootsI researched many different brands, and I especially liked these for breathability and room at the heel. I have no trouble with the sturdy straps. You pull to hook over a setting. The boot itself is snug on the hoof. The extra adjustments are there if you need. They give me and the mare less hesitation in rocky terrain.

Great boots!I have 2 pairs of these boots. I use them on my horses who are in light work so I don’t have to shoe them. They’re also great to protect a foot when one loses a shoe and I can’t get the farrier out right away. The boots are easy to use, rugged, and fit well. Even my farrier approves of them!

Explora bootsI love that there is no Velcro to wear out, no soft gator that tears off the third time I use it, and it is highly adjustable. I haven't been on a crazy ride in them yet, just calm rides, so the ability to stay on my horse's weird shaped feet is still to be determined. But more importantly, Riding Warehouse was amazing to work with! I sent two pairs back and they reassured me that I could do it again if needed. Luckily I waited for my trimmer to come and fit them before sending the third pair back and trying a new brand and he showed me how to fit to perfection despite my horse's feet. But I had been assured I could send them back with confidence if I needed to and switch to a different kind of boot. I will be buying again from Riding Warehouse! They are awesome!

Magic bootsI like the way the magic boots protect my horse's feet. At first he traveled a little differently, he's a walker, but by the third ride he was back to his normal way of going. The boots are a little difficult put on and take off, but that has gotten easier. I'm having trouble with the neoprene slipping out of the ankle straps and losing the elastic keeper when removing the boots. Any suggestions as to why this is happening? Overall these boots are very protective and comfortable for the horse.

RW Response: Thank you so much for your inquiry about the Explora Magic Hoof Boots Pair (Set of 2)! We have not heard of the neoprene slipping out of the straps, and would recommend reaching out to Explora directly to further inquire.

ExplorasBought for my TWH who can't keep front shoes on due to overreach. I like to have her mostly barefoot anyway so I needed a boot for longer rides or where it's super rocky. The Exploras worked pretty well. They stayed on her front feet through some technical trails and seemed comfortable for her.

Big Wonky FeetAs an avid hoof boot user of many brands over the years, I ordered these as a last resort when I couldn't fit other brands on my new Arab's wider-than-longer fronts. I made a few adjustments and have now put over 200 miles on these boots, both fronts and backs. LOVE THEM! Never had a rub (I removed the middle neoprene attachment plug-thing as it kept popping out and did rub. Maybe gluing would help?) and they've never come off. Steep hills, mud, cantering, no problem. The material can be stiff and awkward in cold, wet weather so a pair of small pliers helps pull the straps. I'll be sticking with these.

Explora Magic BootsFantastic. I wanted the open heel bulb area, and I love the tough rubber strap system. We got a great, snug fit! We love these boots!

Tried and TrueThese boots stay on!! They are adjustable and don’t flip-flop when I ride in the arena. Can be a little tricky to put on, but I use pliers to help pull the side straps tight. Well worth the extra effort!

Best Adjustable Boot on the MarketI should preface this with the fact that I haven’t actually tried ALL of the hoof boots out there, but I have tried a half dozen or so. These boots give me the most confidence in how they feel and look during a ride. I am a heavy user of boots and like to gallop over all sorts of terrain. Haven’t gotten to use these for more than 20 miles or so yet, but I won’t hesitate to throw them on before a hunter pace or other event where there’s some higher intensity.

Size 3Best pair of boots I’ve ever owned!! I’ve used EasyBoots/Epics and Renegades; never Scoot Boots, though, as I heard negative reviews. My horse does great with these! Plus, if she’s grown out a little you can adjust. They're absolutely worth the money!

Fit my Appy great!Aloha to all considering this product! I bought mine from a friend who had used them once. I like the fit, and they weren't difficult to put on. The Allen wrench adjustments should be done with good lighting; I have a workbench and corrected one that had been adjusted back to its out-of-the-box setting. I have used them once so far, in a muddy and rocky setting. Lots of lava rock in Hawaii! They performed perfectly. Really, zero complaints other than that they are pricey. Remember, though, it is said that you get what you pay for. This is a high-end product. Someone wrote that they are "heavy." Well, I flat out don't get that comment. I've owned many brands of hoofwear, and these are solid and well made but not at all what I would call "heavy." I suppose we are all entitled to our own opinion. I gave these 5 stars for their look, that there were extra parts (I bought brand new rear hoof boots), they weren't difficult for me to figure out, they stayed on and didn't twist, my gelding was happy in them, and that I can now ride the road pain free. I will never use steel shoes again! Sincerely, Maggie Tuttle Kurtistown, Hawaii

No breakoverThese boots did not fit my horse. If they fit yours, great. I would be concerned that there is no breakover; that would really stress a horse's tendons and ligaments. Also, they are heavy. At the end of the day, you just have to find the boot that fits and use that. These, for my tiny horse, were not it.

The best bootsI never look down to see if I still have the boots on. These have the best fit with no rubs and are easy to put on. Perfect fit every time. I trail ride on all terrain and couldn’t be happier. Best investment!

They are like hiking boots for my horse!I had to make some of the adjustments to get the custom fit. They aren't the easiest boot to put on, but they don't move once they are on and I'm getting better at it. There are no rub marks on my horse's heels at the end of a ride. Our trails can be very rocky here in the Pacific Northwest as well as muddy in the winter. These have great traction. About halfway through our first ride with our new Explora Magic hoof boots, my gelding stopped trying to move along the grassy edge of the trail and picked up the pace. He loves his new hiking boots!

My new favoriteBought 2 sets, used them for a week of hard riding in the rocks and mountains, and then I bought 2 more sets. Luckily, both of our horses wear the same size all around. Our horses have wider rather than longer feet so they're very hard to fit and have them stay on. These do the trick! I raised the bulb area on the fronts only. Only complaint is that the pastern strap should go under the elastic and it can't. I put small, double-sided Velcro straps to hold it down. If it is not secured and comes loose, the boot will come off (at least when climbing a mountain). You also have to ensure the small buttons that secure neoprene lay flat after putting the boot on, or it will cause a rub. Hoof pick can push flat, once you know what to look for. I need to use small pliers and a hoof pick when putting them on, but it's not difficult. I was happy with my horse's movement and the hoof protection provided. Went in a thick mud pond and still stayed secure. My friend lost their Scoot Boots.

Disappointed in boots. Hard to put on!I’ve been booting my horses for many years so these are not my first set. I was intrigued by the room for growth these have as I have one with extremely fast growing hoofs (generally 2mm in 4 weeks). The problem is that unlike other brands these boots don’t “open” for easy install. I ordered larger based on reviews that they run small. I’m glad I did as I don’t think I’d have been able to get a smaller size on at all. The opening is quite a bit smaller than the bottom so squeezing a hoof in is difficult. We watched the instruction video multiple times. Finally we were able to wiggle to get it mostly on, and then walking around seated the boot. Boot rode well so once it is on it seems to work. We tried them multiple times over a 2 week ride hoping they would stretch out or that we’d get better putting them on. That didn’t happen. They actually got harder to put on as the hoof grew out!

Recommend Explore Magic hoof bootsThe Explore Magic hoof boots are terrific! Not only do they provide excellent hoof protection even on large gravel, but they also stay on and fit! I love the ability to customize the fit, particularly in the heel. There has been no wear or rub marks on my mare and she walks as comfortably as can be. I also appreciate that one can purchase 'parts' if they get lost or chewed (yes, my mare gets bored). I recommend these boots!

Mostly goodThey work well, but the little screws in them frequently come apart and need replacing. I have since started using lock-tight to make them hold together better.

Explora Magic Hoof BootEasy to put on and remove. Easy to clean. Using for pasture turnout on a gelding with chronic laminitis so can't comment on performance during riding. Down 1 star because one of the neoprene socks was lost on the second week. Seems like that design could be made more stable. I think I may like to try the Explora Solution if they become available to purchase.

pretty nice bootI think these are nice boots but the fitting is a bit touchy. There are several places to adjust the size, but even with that, they rubbed at one of the connections.

Best Boots I've Used!I've been riding barefoot horses and using boots for 25 years. These are the best I've tried, and I've tried many. I ride hard through rugged conditions and these stay on, don't rub, and have good shock absorption and traction. I can't say enough good about these. If you haven't tried them and don't have a boot you like, it's time to try!

Honest , but lengthy, review of Exploras.I love these boots. They stay in place. I’ve ridden him through bogs and creeks with zero issues. He has had his crazy and spastic Tasmanian devil Paso episodes and they have stayed on. I have gotten to where I don’t even give them a thought while riding in them. EXCEPT that I am more confident in his footing on boulders and pavement! They provide great traction. They are easy to put on with a tap, or letting him put his foot down into them. I love how they are highly adjustable to different hoof conformations. Though, in HIS case, they fit right out of the box. Nice touch that they come with extra straps. The rubber sole is a little on the soft side, so I wonder how long they will last before wearing down. On the flip side, that same rubber also gives a good grip/footing. The sole moves and flexes which is really nice. Sometimes the neoprene padding shifts a little while putting them on. (Which usually means it was not secure before placement.) Not a big deal. Just pull off the boot, reposition the neoprene, and reset. So many pieces are replaceable, too. I only give them a 4 because no boot is perfect. They have three different straps to secure them. With a fidgeting horse sometimes that’s tough. But, I’d still recommend these. I have had Renegades (1st gens). And seriously considered going back with them, but finally decided I didn’t want to be messing with that cabling system. (They frayed. In fairness, I had a Peruvian with low under-slung heels. His hoof conformation really put a lot of pressure on the heel captivators, stressing the cables). I’ve had Cavallos in the past, too. Cavallos are just so clunky and I didn’t want that this time, or anything to interfere with my Paso’s lateral gait. Or to rub around the patterns. He has no issue with these Explora boots and maintaining his nice gait. In fact, I think he loves them because they provide good protection on our NC mountain gravel roads and rocky trails, Lastly, very easy to clean. Showed them to my natural hoof trimmer and he liked these Exploras. They are the best combination of functional boot designs out there and so far they are working out really well. I’d buy them again! If you’re thinking about trying them…I would! Because you’d easily be able to sell them used online if they somehow didn’t work for your horse.

Too smallI had high hopes for these boots but they were too small even when I used the sizing guide. My horse is a 5 slim in Cavallos and 7s in scoots and these boots are way too small.

Absolutely impressed!Just came home from a 3-day ride in the rugged Black Hills. My Willow girl led the group the entire way, wearing her Explora Magic Boots! They never slipped, twisted, or rubbed the entire weekend. We had rain, hail, mud, rock, steep inclines, steep declines, numerous creek crossings, bridges, downfall trees, and just about any terrain you would ever come across. I am a huge fan, and may never shoe my horses again! Wish there was a way to attach a video of where these boots went!

My only regret is not trying them soonerThese are hands down the best boots I have used- and I used most of the major brands out there. They are very adjustable- both in heel length and height. They look complicated but once you get the hang of them theyre easy to put on & remove.

I have tried every boot that is out there and these are definitely great boots. They stay on through all terrain, with deep mud, etc. They have great tread and they are not noisy like other boots. They have a great break over and are not difficult to use.

Comments: Took a bit to get the right size but once I did, I am VERY happy with them It is not exactly easy to put on snug. I am 59, but once on all good. Ordering the hinds next!!

Comments: I have been an Easyboot Glove Gal for a long time. But I now have a lovely young mare who is High/Low in the front and just crooked in the back (which will hopefully straighten as she fills out). I have tried Gloves, Renegades, and Flex Hoof boots. Had an issue with each one- they either twisted or came off. Out of desperation, I tried the Explora Hoof boots- a pricey venture if they don't work as all of the others. These boots are top-notch! They have a flexible shell like a Glove, a more sturdy sole like a Renegade, but with a more flexible heel area. They have a few ways to make adjustments to the height/length. Fairly easy to get on. And most importantly- THEY STAYED ON!!! I did a few trial rides at home and then a 30-mile endurance ride. There was mud, but they stayed on. They are the first boots that I can canter this mare in without one turning or coming off. I'm thrilled with them!! Highly recommend!!

Comments: My boy fit in the size 2 rather snuggly but the 3's looked too big. We went with the 2's. They are a little tough to get on due to the snug fit but the RW video showed her walking her gelding around to seat the boots. That seemed to work great. I struggled a little with attaching the side strap rubber thingies on the posts but think it will get easier as things stretch out and my coordination gets smoother. The adjustments were easier than it looked. Yesterday I went for an 8.5 mile ride with a couple young friends that liked to yeehaw up hills..what a great way to test boots! The boots didn't budge and I had the side straps and the fetlock straps really loose. If they didn't come off while galloping madly up a hill, they probably won't come off. No rubs on this quick 8.5 mile ride, either. So far two thumbs up! (PS I am a die-hard EasyBoot Gloves fan but thought I would give these a shot since they don't have any velcro to wear out and collect stickers).

Comments: I have had my share of hoof boots over the years, and have used 6 different brands. I cannot tell you how many I've lost on trail rides in mud. I have had luck with boots on regular terrain, but thick sucking mud is the worst to come across on a trail. I always have to worry about losing a boot or trying to go around it. I bought these boots for a trail ride to Uwharrie National Forest in NC recently. NC has had a very wet winter and spring and the trails were spotty with watery, thick mud. These boots were the bomb diggity!! After the first day of riding, I barely glanced at my horse's feet for the rest of the weekend. These boots held on knee-deep mud, deep rocky streams, rocky hill climbs/descends, and slick trails. LOVE THEM!!

Comments: Explora Magic Boots are two thumbs up from me and 4 hooves up from my paint mare Tilly. We trotted, we turned, we went thru sand, we cantered, we did technical rocks and I didn’t have to get off once!!! The boots stayed ON and when we got to the trailer not a rub at all!!! 12 tough, fast and slow miles of various terrain. Happy campers both of us. Yes they look COMPLICATED but aren’t. I set all the adjustments to the middle settings and then they pop on and off like some other brands with just one strap which easily fastens. Did I mention they stayed ON!!! I’m a huge fan!

Comments: I've tried many boots for my horse with more upright heels and dorsal hoof wall, without a good fit. I LOVE these, they fit without rubbing or twisting. They are so adjustable. Tech support at info@explorahorseboots.com was EXCELLENT. I sent them pics and they gave me advice and feedback on how to adjust straps. Once adjusted, they are easy to put on (not as easy as some other brands, but still OK). Make sure the hoof measurements are within the limits for your size. Just ordered a second pair!
