Equiderma Zinc Oxide Healing Paste & Sunblock can be used as a first treatment of pastern dermatitis, or scratches, greasy heel, dew poisoning, or mud fever, and skin problems associated with sunburn. 

Addressing common problems often experienced when treating scratches, this innovative formula effectively keeps the affected area dry by creating a water-resistant barrier while providing 100% sun blocking capabilities. This allows the paste to stay put, therefore creating a healthy environment to allow healing to occur. This also allows horses to be turned out, as this product will protect against pasture elements along with providing coverage from UV rays. 

Certain to knock out scratches, this three-pronged approach is sure to keep your equine happy and healthy all year round!

Would Recommend
Honestly MiraculousThis is our first Florida summer with horses. I have been trying every product I can find and fighting to keep all the "normal" Florida skin conditions at bay, until a friend recommended this. It is a game changer, and truly works on EVERYTHING! Scratches, summer sores, sunburn & photosensitivity, cuts, scrapes, fly bites, you name it. The fact that it has a pleasant smell, isn't greasy, and stays put where you apply it is a bonus. They only drawback is that it is somewhat runny, so it's easy to tip the jar over and waste it. I wish it came in a tube for easier dispensing. Regardless, this is my new go-to, and I will be looking into other products this company offers.

Comments: This thick bluish cream is a wonder product for your first aid kit! Works great on a number of conditions: scratches, sunburn, and even raised bumpy fly/midge bites. It goes on thick and stays on in the pasture. And it works fast. A bit expensive, maybe, but a container lasts for ages.
