The best human fly repellent everI've used it on myself, the dogs, and my horse. The good and the bad: it works great for me and the dogs, but not so great for the horse. Still worth it to have in the barn when flies are crazy. We "layer" different fly sprays for all of our critters.
Do not recommendEssential oils can be very irritating and this caused hair to scurf on both my horses. I am using as an area spray but I would never use it as a fly spray.

Good Natural Fly SprayI just started trying to use more natural fly sprays, and, while I like this one, its staying power in the daytime when flies are bad just doesn't stack up to my tried and true UltraShield. I have tried several different ways to apply it, but I don't think I'll be repurchasing. I do know 2 people in my barn who love this, however, and add vanilla to help repel gnats.
Every tack room should have gallons on handWorks wonders and keeps flies away for hours!
SimplyThe best!
This stuff works.
Guardian of the barn!ONLY fly spray that works! From highly toxic to natural, I used them all and Equiderma is the only one that works... For hours! Even when I come back the next day, my horse still has only 1/4 of the flies that are on his neighbors. Unlike the toxic stuff that has to be sprayed downwind- to not breathe it in and loaded with carcinogens, I use Equiderma on myself!
Effective "Natural" ProductThis product really does repel flies pretty well. Of course, we aren't into the fall fly season when they get really aggressive, but for an hour trail ride during the summer, my horses are well protected. The smell is not offensive to my horses, as so many fly sprays are, so they don't get annoyed with me when I spray them. It also adds a nice glossy shine, that isn't oily.
Best natural fly spraySmells good and works fairly well. Doesn’t last as long as the chemical sprays, but also not as oily.

Comments: The BEST fly spray. I've tried quite a few at this point (Bronco Gold, Ecovet, SmartPak's Outsmart, UltraShield) and all had their downsides. The big gun chemicals like UltraSheild and Bronco Gold worked, but I wasn't so keen on getting all that insect repellant all over my horse, in the air for us to breath in, and inevitably some of it ending on me. The natural ones either didn't work for me OR they didn't work AND they sent me into a sneezing fit. Then along comes Equiderma. Full disclosure: I've yet to use a single one of their products I didn't love, and this was no exception. It noticeably repels the flys. It smells great and doesn't make me sneeze at all. I don't really need to use it on myself, but it is safe to do so which gives me peace of mind putting it all over my horse. On top of all of that, it is a GREAT coat conditioner without making your horse's coat slick. One step saved in the summer months! I love it!

Comments: Love this spray! A friend in Florida recommended it to me and it is by far the most effective fly spray I have ever used! Highly recommend.

Comments: Hands down the most effective fly spray I have ever used, with the added bonus that it doesn’t smell awful. Works on both the black flies and the gnats here in South Carolina.

Comments: This fly spray works as well as any of the best I have tried, but I love the fact that it is natural and I don't have to use as much for it to be effective. It may be a bit more expensive, but it is worth it.

Comments: This spray made my horse break out in big welts after only using it twice. On my other horse, it burned the hair off her legs, plus it is so oily it collects a lot of dust.
