ComfortableMy first time buying these. My new saddle has a deeper seat and higher pommel and my lady bits were taking a beating LOL. These fit true to size but take a little getting used to.
LifesaverNot attractive, and terribly visible panty lines, but, these are a lifesaver for me as I ride 6-8 horses a day, five days a week. The cushion is in front where you most need it in a higher pommelled dressage saddle.
Game ChangerThere are panty lines. I don't see how there couldn't be. But they do get all of those 5 stars for saving your lady parts.
Good fit, but did not work for chafingThese fit well but did not resolve my problem. Jellypantz work better for me.
GreatA little tight, but feels like regular underwear until you sit the trot! Highly recommend.
This underwear works!I've been looking for a better solution than two pairs of briefs at once to give me a little more room in the front of my breeches. These underwear offer enough padding to provide a cushion in a saddle with a higher pommel. Maybe not for every pair of breeches, sometimes, the undies themselves created a little "camel toe" but they worked well for me.
The cotton of the brief is substantial, not flimsy, and should last a while. The cotton is also absorbent, which was a surprise benefit when I wore them on a really hot and humid day. The edges of the leg opening are also on the thicker side, but don't create a panty line. And the coverage of the bottom goes over the spot where I get saddle rubs on long rides in hot weather. The elastic waist is a little more visible than I'd like (makes a little muffin top action) but not too constructing. I ended up buying five pairs.
Comfortable and not bulkyI am really pleased with my purchase. The underwear is comfortable, not bulky, and provides just enough cushioning. They wash up well. Just remember not to put them in the clothes dryer! I would definitely buy these again.
A Pleasant SurpriseI was pleasantly surprised by this product. They are unlike bike shorts. There is minimal diaper feeling. No need to waddle. They have just the right amount of padding to be comfortable. I have ordered more. I would give five stars, but I don’t understand the necessity of the extra front panel. Some might find it bothersome.
Very comfy! These are definitely not going to be your sexy, date night, go-to undergarments, but they sure make riding a lot more comfortable! They stay in place so no bunching/wedgies. The padding protects your lady parts, and there’s no chafing from the seams. Highly recommended!
Equitech Dressage BriefThis underwear is comfortable. I only wish they could be put in the dryer!
Equetech padded underwearReally nice extra padding for long trail rides!
Comfort in the SaddleI am a senior rider and these work well for my hunter/jumper saddle. They fit well. They do have a panty line but I don’t care. I just like being comfortable. Good product.
Soft LandingsI rescued a dog and when we go walking on the trails, she'll jet after an unexpected squirrel and more than once I've fallen on my rear-end. I saw your advertisement and decided to give these a try. These are really great and provide a softer landing.
I will get more!
Need to update styleThe padding on these is great. That part works well. They fit well except the legs are tight. I am not a heavy person or have big thighs. Because of the style (old-fashioned whitey tighties) they show under tights or breeches. If they were a boy short style, they would be perfect. As I said, padding is great though.
Game changerI have often thought of inventing equestrian underpants— I was so stoked to find out they already exist! These were recommended to me by a dressage trainer, though I ride H/J. For women who are no longer 22 and want some comfort in their ride, these are beyond fantastic. They stay firmly in place and provide cushion in just the right spots. They do show a panty line under thinner breeches but I don’t even care. I got the front padded one and the full padded version— haven’t tried the full pad yet but the front one is excellent. It will change your experience at the sitting trot. ◡̈
My first comfortable ride in some timeI sit differently in a new saddle, despite my self-reminders to sit on my seat bones. Fits my horse but chaffs my “lady bits”. I wore these Primo briefs today on a four-trail ride and no chaffing. I had an enjoyable ride with friends without constantly worrying about my position. Just the right amount of padding. The padding doesn’t show. I wear a size 12 pants and the XL is a good fit, I wore a thin pair of panties under them.
Best Ugly Underwear for RidingIt's ugly but does the job. So I have, uh, *lady bits* chafing while I ride. I've tried bike shorts, but they are always made of synthetic fabric that doesn't breathe and a swamp crotch is just as bad as a chafed crotch. These are mostly cotton with some Lycra for stretch and are breathable and comfortable and are cheap compared to most nice bike shorts. I got these and the bikini cut, but the bikini was designed by someone who's never seen a woman and has no idea how underwear works, so stick with the ugly briefs. I got my recommended size (small, US 4-6) and they are VERY snug for the sizing, but they stay put and don't budge. Yeah, there's a little bit of panty line visible, who cares. The bikini has horrendous panty lines in comparison. I went to the Equetech site to see the differences in their padding styles; so this one is the Primo which has medium front and crotch padding (which I think is perfect), there's also Classic which has only thin padding in the crotch and seat, and Plus which has medium padding in the front, crotch, and seat. Hope this clears up the confusion!
