Very comfortable but expect panty lineI've searched high and low for underwear like this at a reasonable price. Coverage & padding just where I want it for protection. I LOVE that there is NO padding in the seat so I can fully feel contact with my sitting bones. The ONLY thing I don't like about this underwear is the highly visible panty line. It's tolerable with full seat breeches, but tights/leggings??? It's embarrassing. I wish there was a thong or thong like version since I'm really only looking for padding in the front.
Just go with Equetech BriefThe fit is awful but it looks good, but Equetech nails it with the brief cut. I purchased both the bikini and brief of the Equetech Primo padded underwear and while the bikini looks pretty darn sporty (until you put your pants on and the panty line is HORRENDOUS), the crotch is cut WAY too wide to provide a proper fit (for me--maybe I have freak measurements??? not sure). Since we cannot return underwear, I'm going to try to wear it, but I might end up Frankensteining the gusset to fit better. It is made of mostly cotton so it should breathe nicely. If you disregard the awful crotch gusset, it does fit VERY snugly true-to-size. I looked up on Equetech's website the different kinds of padding and the Primo is the medium front and crotch padding which is what I need and does the job of protecting the lady bits. I've ridden in the brief and the padding is excellent and eliminates chaffing, so I'm giving this two stars with the assumption that if it was designed correctly the padding would work as intended. I'd recommend just buying the ugly brief.

For high level protection, the Equetech Dressage Briefs Plus Padded Riding Underwear provides dense coverage along the gusset and seat. These are a better fit for someone who needs additional padding for those long hours in the tack!
