Overview
Aptly named, the Epona Tiger Tongue Horse Groomer works like a cat's tongue to remove embedded dirt, mud, and manure from your horse's coat. This impressive tool is great for pre and post-rides and is extremely useful for removing sweat stains, cleaning mud off of hooves, or scrubbing white marks so they shine. The Tiger Tongue Groomer can even be used to scrub barn tools and water buckets!

Horses love itWorks well to remove loose hair and dirt and the horses seem to really enjoy scratches with it. Great for the face and legs. It's soft yet effective. It can be hard to find tools that sensitive horses actually like.
Epona Tiger’s Tongue GroomerLove these for my sensitive TBs. They knock dirt, pull loose hairs, and add shine without my horses fussing.
All around grooming toolI won one of these at an Endurance ride. I love it because it gives a good scratch at vet checks, I can curry the coat, get the coat clean, and use it as a sponge.
Using as a brushI use this sponge as a brush. It works great to get the hair, sweat, dirt, and dust off my horses. They love it. During the summer, it's all I use.
LOVE!After 4 years of use and abuse, my Tiger's Tongue finally had to be replaced. I use this sponge for everything from bathing and grooming to scrubbing buckets. I cannot say enough good things about it. It is also a fantastic curry comb alternative for sensitive-skinned horses.
My go-to grooming toolA friend gave me one of these at a show, she said it was great for sweat marks and legs. I use it almost daily now. I love it for the last - get the remaining dust off - rub. Works great on getting sand off legs, too. It can help with mud, also. I went to a clinic and didn't have time for thorough grooming- grabbed this, and 2 minutes later she looked clean (just don't pat- the dust was still there)! It does wear down over time, but they are not super expensive. I have one in the trailer and the tack room. This is the grooming tool I didn't know I needed, but can't live without now.
