Overview

The EasyCare EasyShoe Speed offers integrated cuffs for easy gluing of the Hind-Pair! The Speed horseshoes are designed to increase traction on grass and arena footing in performance disciplines like barrel racing, show jumping, eventing, cross country, fox hunting, dressage, and more. These EasyShoes are also ideal for trail and endurance riding, and the thinner webbing allows the hooves to sink further into the ground for more grip. Featuring a keyhole design to provide heel movement, the center keyhole brace can also be removed to offer even more flexibility by allowing for independent heel movement if it's needed. These glue-on urethane horseshoes are versatile and durable!

Good Composite Shoe OptionThis shoe stays on if the hoof is prepped correctly and it is heat fitted. My horse lives in irrigated pasture which is muddy and wet half the week, runs around and twists a lot, and we do really intense rides through varied terrain. I've only had the very back portion close to the heels separate a bit, which is where the shoe flexes and moves the most anyhow, but it's not affecting the shoe retention at all. I've heard acrylic glue flexes better so maybe I'll try that next cycle. Didn't have any luck with any glue-ons prior to this type of shoe for more than a week. It's the form fit you get around the sides that makes this a great option. Make sure to study up on heat fitting, modifying breakover, shaping the heel area etc and you'll get the custom fit you need to make your horse happy, plus a well-balanced and correct trim of the foot are all key to success. Two things that need to be addressed by the company; the holes in the shoe in the middle of the frog area are a terrible design flaw. Mud and rocks get stuck and it's a pain to clean out. Second thing is the tread is not ideal for trail riding, it collects little rocks and holds mud, plus the tread is very narrow so it's hard to clean out with a hoof pick. This being said they seem to have enough grip for trails. I'd just like to see a wider tread option.
