Overview
With an innovative, removable shim design, the ECP Quilted Cotton Correction Half Pad with 6-Pocket Inserts allows a completely customizable fit to improve saddle fit, comfort, and overall performance.
The exclusive correctional shim system provides six separate pockets (one rear, one middle, and one front pocket on each side) that each contains three separate memory foam shims specifically contoured for corrective balancing and pressure relief. Completely customizable, the front lifts can be used for higher withers, the middle fill for swayed backs, or front and rear inserts for flatter backs. The quilted cotton pad in which the inserts are housed is made of highly breathable and moisture wicking material that can stand the rigors of everyday training while maintaining a finished look for the show ring.

Insert Sizes:
Each pocket holds three separate memory foam inserts, which can be removed or added individually for a customizable fit for your horse! The thickest insert is just under half an inch and the two thinner inserts together are just over a quarter of an inch; altogether, the three inserts add about three-quarters of an inch. Including the pad itself, the total thickness is 1½ inches.
Design & Materials:
The ECP Air Ride Technology offers a multi-layer system to optimize heat transfer, moisture management and supportive protection and comfort. The top and bottom fabric layers are constructed from breathable CoolMax® material and reinforced with Dupont Teflon® for long-lasting repelling of dirt, oils, stains, and water.
The high-compression thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) foam core dissipates and absorbs impact to protect and support the muscles along the horse's back while the perforated design provides optimal heat transfer for an immediate cooling effect. Waterproof and antimicrobial, TPE foam is environmentally friendly and recyclable.

Comments: I love this half pad. I no longer have saddle fit issues with my mare. Personally, I like this one better than the 4 pocket one. I've used it for about 5 months and it has held up well. It also cleans up well with some Oxiclean. Overall great pad.

Comments: Foam compressed in less than 20 rides. I would not buy again. Wrote to the company to ask if this was normal, and if they could send extra shims. They told me to buy new shims. Thank you to Riding Warehouse's amazing return policy for getting me out of this mess. Exchanged for a LeMieux correction pad for just a bit more money. The difference is night and day. Will never buy another ECP product again, and cannot understand how their products have so many positive reviews. Probably only because they are extremely cheap, though for no return on value that I can personally see.

Comments: Pros: well made pad. Great idea. Nice and long. Cons: low quality foam. The deal breaker for me was where the velcro line of pockets sits. I believe it could get under the saddle panels. My panels are pretty far apart too. For short periods that might be ok. My experience with longer rides and any kind of seam or ridge under a pressure area is it could cause problems.
