Overview
Providing a custom fit with top of the line materials, the ECP 3D Air Ride Dressage Pad provides breathable support, making it ideal for schooling or showing. Using a complex network of flexible fibers, this pad bends under pressure to provide support and cushioning without any excess bulk. A mesh lining on the top and bottom provides impressive ventilation throughout the pad while polyester fibers work to maintain large open air pockets. The thin design is ideal for horses that have a saddle that fits well but may need some extra support. Comments: This is the coolest pad I have used. In the hottest of summer months in the Central Valley of California, my horse's back was almost totally dry after an afternoon ride.

Comments: I have mixed feelings about this pad. On the one hand, my red mare sweats if you look at her wrong and this pad does seem to get a lot of cooling air to her poor back. But it also is puffy and seems to make the billets hang strangely so that my (shoulder relief) girth doesn't sit correctly. I'm concerned about that causing problems. The wither sweep is lovely and high but so is the sweep of the rear end, which causes the pad to be functionally shorter than its full measurement, so it does not protect my half pad from sweat or dirt. But yeah it certainly is cooling! It's just not *perfect*
