Waist Rise
-
Low
Low-rise jeans sit low on or below the hips. These jeans often measure seven to eight inches from the waistband to the fork (where the legs meet the crotch).
-
Mid
Mid-rise jeans sit between the hips and the navel, just below the natural waist. This is the most common rise option offered in jeans.
-
High
High-rise jeans have the longest distance from the waistband to the fork, sitting near to or above the belly button. They can give the appearance of longer legs.

Comments: Love these britches, very comfortable, only issue is that the they do not allow you to pick a inseam length. They come to the down just over my ankle. Size 36 I am 5'8.

Comments: These are extremely soft, almost pajama-like. I love the look of them, but the feel in the saddle might not be for everyone. Also, the belt loops are quite narrow!

Comments: I want to post a FIVE STAR review, here - I REALLY do - but I cannot. These breeches fit perfectly (I'm 5'3" and about 165 pounds) and I ordered a 32. They're snug in all the right places (my weight is mostly in my mid-section) and I love not having seams to contend with while riding. The pockets (front and back) are adequate, considering they are breeches. They shipped fast and I'm happy with Riding Warehouse - but the actual breeches.....let's unpack this a bit, shall we? The care instructions read: Turn garment inside out. Cold machine wash on a hand wash cycle with like colors. Do not bleach, soak, or rub. Dry in shade. Do not tumble dry. Do not iron print, trims, or embroidery. Cool iron on the reverse side if required. Do not dry clean. GOT IT! Sounds easy enough! Well, I'm a bit of a stickler for expensive things, so I washed these breeches BY THEMSELVES, inside out, on cold water, gentle cycle in my washing machine. I followed ALL THE DIRECTIONS. I was SO DISAPPOINTED to see the "pilling" of the fabric (the inside "lining" only - the outside of the breeches are fine!). For the money, one would think that this would not happen, especially if being washed by itself, on a gentle cycle, in cold water. I laid them flat to dry on a towel, on the floor. BUMMER! So now, when I put them on, I feel the "pilling" of the fabric against my skin. This is not worth almost a hundred dollars. I would buy these again if I knew this would not happen. But I cannot recommend them based on this issue. Very disappointed. Lastly, there are odd "spots" in several locations that look like "glue" - if I could upload pictures of all of this, I would.
