Agreed-Best of Both WorldsThe leather is quite heavy, but that just adds to the purpose of this hybrid halter; for horses that need more control. My trainer likes to use the rope halters for control reasons, but I don't like to put my horse in crossties in a rope halter. This hybrid halter fits the bill for that too! Like the other review wrote, this really is the best of both worlds.
Best of both worldsThis halter has been perfect for our stronger on the ground types. I am constantly going between rope halters for their function and leather halters for their style. This one allows for that little bit of extra oomph when the horses are "feeling their oats" in the cooler weather.
