Dosage:
The recommended dose for horses over 880 lbs is 60 ml (2 oz) per day. You can feed 30 ml (1 oz) twice daily, or feed 60 ml once a day. For yearlings or younger horses, the suggested dose is 30 ml per day, gradually increasing to 45-60 ml a day. For horses under 880 lbs, the recommended dose is 30 ml a day. This can be top-dressed on feed or administered by mouth separately.
One 4L jug will last approximately 67 days for one horse, based on the recommended dosage. One pump is equal to 30 ml.
Storage:
Camelina oil's shelf life is 24 months from press date when stored appropriately. The manufacturer recommends storing in a cool, dry place in tinted or opaque containers, as light can affect the shelf life. Camelina oil does not need to be refrigerated and will not freeze; however, it may thicken slightly in extremely cold temperatures.
