Comments: I recieved mine today, my first impression was that it looked very well constructed. After I tried it on my horse, I fell completely in love! It didn't move or shift in any of the four gaits. I feel as secure with this as I do when using a saddle and all the apparatus. It super comfortable, and protects my horse's back, which makes me happy. My horse seemed to like it better than the saddle, also!

Comments: Absolutely love the Best Friend western bareback pad. Even on a fresh horse, it doesn't slip on him & I stick like glue. This pad will get lots of use since I love riding bareback & can ride safer.

Comments: Excellent bareback pad. Nice thick padding over the withers, even has a small padded "cantle". Threw out the water bottle it came with (cheap & stinky plastic) but the water bottle pocket will fit a standard h2o bottle. The velcro closure pocket on the other side is small but will hold a sandwich or small bag of chips.

Comments: I love this bareback pad! I trail ride my pony with it all the time and it's very comfortable for both of us. The pockets are a great addition to hold a snack and a water bottle.

Comments: I love this bareback pad so much and so does my horse!!! This is the most comfortable bareback pad I have ever used. It's very thick and is great for even a very withery horse. The cinch is nice and fits my horse perfectly. It will dry fast and I haven't had to wash it. I will definitely use this for many years.

Comments: I was looking all over for a good deal on this product because it came highly recommended. I needed a quality bareback pad for my lessons that I could trust. I saw the price and knew this was the place. Customer service is exceptional, always answering promptly every time I e-mailed with professional and informative responses. It took longer with the back order, but I was upgraded on shipping for free. I have recommended this store to friends and will continue to do so.

Comments: I love this bareback pad. It's very comfortable for me, and most importantly, my horse. The tacky material on the underside of the pad helps it from slipping back too much, however I do notice some slippage (I should note I ride with a loose girth). The micro suede fabric on the seat gives you a little extra "stick" during those "spooky" moments. I love the side pocket and water holder. The cinch buckles sometimes bother my legs, but I normally wear half chaps, so it's really not a problem. Definitely a good addition to anyone's tack collection.

Comments: I love this pad. I only wish it had a felt liner instead of foam because the foam absorbs moisture and I get a damp seat. I ride 98% of the time bareback and this is my go-to pad. I need to order another one, I have worn a hole in mine after 4 years of riding in it every weekend. The only one other thing I'd like to see with this pad is larger pockets to carry more items and/or rings so I could attach a small light weight cantle pack.

Comments: This is an awesome bareback pad and by far the most comfortable I have ever ridden in. It stays put and is soft. Pockets are great for holding phone and my morning coffee. :-)

Comments: Love this bareback pad. Good grip, comfortable seat, easy to keep clean, and it has a place to carry my water bottle and a snack for a trail ride!

Comments: This is the best bareback pad ever. Never slips and provides a secure Velcro pocket for your truck keys. You can fly through the foothills and the pad stays secure. It is so amazing I bought one for my best friend. No pun intended.

Comments: This is the best bareback pad I have ever used for trail riding. It is super comfy and secure; I have gone up and down hills and it keeps me in place. It is also really easy to clean; if it gets fur on top, I can just brush it off and it's good as new. I also have hosed the whole thing off after a long ride when it got really sweaty. I left it out to dry for the night and it was perfect the next day. It looked new! :)

Comments: This pad is so crazy cute and soft, I just love it. I got the leopard print and it looks so great on my sorrel and my bay. It's nice not to have to "saddle up" every time I want to trail ride. Also nice not to get dirt or sweat on my tights! I've never had a way to carry water on my rides so that's so cool. I can also put my camera in the front pocket. I'd give it 5 stars. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Comments: This is the best bareback pad I have ever used. It it soft and the suede top really sticks to your pants. Mine barely slips when I ride. I go up and down hills and it barely moves. I am really happy with my bareback pad. :)

Comments: This bareback pad is the best ever!! It is so comfortable and it stays put. My mare is round and wither-less and this pad doesn't slip to the side on her at all. We go up and down a lot of hills and it stays put for that, too. The microsuede seat is easy to clean & helps keep me from sliding around. It is a bit smaller than I thought but it works for me...I'm 5'3" about 130lb

Comments: This is a pretty good bareback pad. For the price I wish the cushion lasted longer. After a few months the cushion flatted out a lot. Also not too good for my high withered horse because it slipped back a lot. However it works on my round QH mare.

Comments: Have had this pad many years and have gotten lots of use out of it, and still no tears or rips. The pocket is nice to have for a little storage. The seat is very soft, and the non-slip underside is a breeze to clean.

Comments: I've used this pad on both my high withered Arabian and my round QH. My Arabian is easy going and doesn't complain, but it does really press on her withers more than I would like, there are no D rings to prevent slide back. Very light, easy clean, soft and comfy. Other cinches are not able to be used unless you drill the holes on the Best Friend off billets larger because no regular cinch will fit in the small holes designed just for the Best Friend cinch. But the cinch is very soft so no need to replace. I think I'll try another Best Friend pad on my Arabian, but it works great for my flatter withered QH. No slipping, nice and grippy seat. Can't explain how light this thing is. I got red and it's a great color. True red. The water bottle is very low quality. Tossed it because of the toxic odor, but easy to replace.
