The Bates Versa All Purpose Saddle combines innovative features to create the ultimate all purpose saddle! The close contact seat enables riders to maintain a connection with their horse while still being open enough to allow freedom of movement in the saddle. Proper rider alignment and balance are supported by an Adjustable Ergonomic Stirrup Bar and a moveable front FlexiContourbloc. An additional thigh support bloc helps riders achieve additional balance and security in the saddle, while the innovative HART® system ensures an ideal fit and comfort for your equine partner. Elastiflex Tree:
Supported by the Easy-Change Gullet, the tree maintains clearance over the horse's wither, while possessing lateral flexion to work with the horse's muscular movement. Lightweight and durable, the Elastiflex Tree is guaranteed against breakage for the lifetime of the saddle, under normal riding conditions, deemed 10 years.
Adjustable Flexibloc System:
This system enables the rider to customize the support they need for their individual riding position. These blocks are easy to move but stay once placed.
The CAIR® Cushion System:
The CAIR® Cushion System replaces traditional fillings in your saddle with air cushions. CAIR° air cushion technology provides significant performance advantages in the way it distributes the rider's weight and cushions the horse's back.
Distribution of the rider's weight: Under the rider's weight the air cushions continually mold to mirror the horse's individual conformation and working muscles. This ensures a close, even contact over a much larger weight-bearing area and eliminates instances of pressure points.
