Natural stable spray that worksI saw this new product at my feed store and decided to try it in my spray system. The results were great. Flies were tamed in 24 hours. I will be using it going forward.
Its fineI have been using this concentrate for about 9 months now. I am frankly not impressed. Regardless of how much and how often this spray is applied, it doesn't keep the flies off. Even tried using it as a barn spray for the aisles to see if it would help, but no luck. The flies seem largely un-phased by it. For the price point, I had higher expectations.
Not the bestUnfortunately, I didn't have the best success with this fly spray. The boys were covered in flies, I sprayed and it held them off for a couple of minutes, but then they were right back on the poor horses. I had high hopes since the flies were so bad, but it just didn't seem strong enough so we reverted back to the chemicals. I tried it with a little more concentrate then the recommended ratio (not much because I am not sure if it's healthy), and the devil flies didn't seem to care.
AlrightFor this being a natural fly spray, the scent is easy on the nose! However, I did have to heavily apply everyday to feel like this spray was doing anything. The flies did not seem to be kept entirely at bay on my horse, and the spray left little white spots on his coat where it didn't entirely seem to soak in. I think this would work more efficiently as a premise spray at a stronger dilution strength.
Just okayThe flies came back pretty quickly after application. I would probably use this more for when getting ready to ride for a few hours over spraying my horses in the pasture, where I want a stronger application.
Arkion Natural Fly SprayI had been looking for a natural fly spray that works and doesn't break the bank when I found this product. My kids are always hanging all over the horses and hugging them, and I wanted to make sure that I was applying a non-poisonous spray that was safe for them to be around. Since it's a concentrate, I was really excited to see that I could make 10 full size spray bottles out of this. It's definitely the most cost efficient natural fly spray I've found...and it works. It's not as potent as the poisonous sprays, but it keeps the flies off for the day. We've got happy horses, happy kids, and a happy mom here.
Best for barn fly controlIt's been a crazy fly season for us, and our barn was covered! This spray is the best thing I've been able to find to keep the flies under control in the stalls and around the barn. And best of all - it's all natural!
