Measuring Guide:
Collect both measurements while seated with the leg at a 90 degree angle using a cloth measuring tape. Wear the breeches and socks that you would wear while measuring. Have an additional person take the measurements for best accuracy.
For Calf Height - Measure from where the heel rests on the ground to the bend of the knee. Add approximately 1/2-3/4" in height to allow for drop.
For Calf Width - Measure the circumference of the widest part of the calf.

Comments: I own half a dozen size 10.5 Ariats & a pair of size 11 lace-up terrains. I ordered the pull-on in size 11 and could not even get them on. Maybe a size 9 but nowhere near an 11.

Comments: I'm a woman with moderately wide feet (and wear exclusively minimalist/barefoot shoes when not riding, so I have no tolerance for narrow or pointy shoes), and even the Ariat women's round toe boots are way too narrow for me. Decided to try these men's boots in an EE and they're actually almost wide enough for my feet, but still fit well in stirrups. They are quite difficult to get on and I doubt they'd work for people with a high instep, but for once on they don't feel too tight, and that initial snugness is actually what keeps them from falling off when riding without stirrups. Overall I'm very happy with them and will likely purchase another pair when the current ones wear out, though I've noticed two small issues. First, one of them isn't 100% waterproof. Not sure where the water gets in, but it was a bit of a surprise the first time I stepped in a creek and ended up with damp spots on my foot. Also, there's a small nick in the leather over the back of one calf, and I have no idea how it happened, as I've mostly worn them in the arena (so no branches snagging them).
