LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!I have beat these up for two years now as my daily users, and they are still like new with no sagging, snags, or marks anywhere on them. The best part is how breathable and lightweight they are. It's hard to go back to full boots after you get used to them!

Comments: These are by far my favorite half chaps I've had in the last 30 years! They fit true to size and are like wearing a sock that's durable and offers protection. They breathe very well and I can actually wear them with trainers/running shoes without any rubs or slipping of the shoe out of the chap. These are a great upgrade from the Terrain II half chaps. My only complaint is that the zipper is hard to zip. It runs smoothly, it's just awkward having it at the back rather than the size. So far I have 300 endurance miles on these and they still look like new. I hope Ariat keeps this style as part of their core line. They're great!

Comments: I had high hopes but was disappointed almost immediately. They were initially comfortable, but within 5 minutes of wearing them around my house I brushed up against a wooden bench and the fabric snagged badly. I should have heeded that as a warning that any sort of trail riding would trash the fabric, but I liked the concept so I persevered. The fabric continued to snag excessively (worse than the other mesh chaps I've had) with only a dozen or so rides in them. After several rides in hot weather, my legs would be so hot and sweaty under the non-mesh parts of the chaps - far, far more than my leather Tredsteps. They were my least favorite chaps, but I didn't feel like I could even donate them given the snags. I was so grateful for Riding Warehouse's return policy and these chaps were the only thing I've ever had to send back after using (thank you RW). Didn't work for me, but your mileage may vary.
