Overview
The Arena AluPlus 2.0 Stirrups from Acavallo offer elegance and exceptional comfort and security.
This laterally opening stirrup is completely made out of high-grade anodized aluminum and is fitted with a stainless steel tread. This keeps the stirrup light and sleek while remaining extremely durable and safe from corrosion. The stress-actuated locking and release mechanism is located a centimeter higher from the treads to eliminate accidental slippage of your foot. Additionally, holes in the tread help sand and dirt from accumulating on the footbed. Like the previous Arena Stirrup models, a 5-degree inclination of the tread helps riders stay in the correct posture, relieving tension in their ankles, calves, knees, and hips!

Best safety stirrups on the market!After a painstaking review of all of the safety strips on the market in 2024, I decided on these and am not at all disappointed. Yes they are expensive, but I patrol the Folsom Lake State Recreation Area very regularly on the Mounted Assistance Unit, and need to be as safe out there as much as possible. These are also very attractive and comfortable. They have a good weight to them, yet are low profile. I would definitely buy them again.
Acavallo Arena AluPlus 2.0 Aluminium StirrupsI’ve used a variety of stirrups, and these are my favorite. I rode with them backwards (unintentionally) for the first few rides, and even backwards they were better than my usual stirrups!
The slight angle is really nice, and they’re grippy and light. I would buy these again, no question.
