Overview
The Vettec Equi-Thane Adhere Adhesive Glue is a fast-setting urethane adhesive specifically designed to bond hoof boots and horseshoes to a horse's hoof.
Adhere glue sets hard with a superior, lasting bond that still maintains the flexibility to accommodate the natural movement of the hoof at the heel and quarters of the hoof wall.
A single tube of Vettec Adhere accommodates coverage for up to eight boot applications; however, coverage will vary depending on the size of the boot.
Please Note: All Vettec Products require the use of the Vettec Mixing Tips for proper mixing and dispensing. To avoid leakage, Vettec strongly encourages you to equalize your cartridges before use.

This stuff is so hard to use!So I thought I would try it out before taking it to the barn. Watched the Vettec Youtube video, loaded the unit into the new dispenser, applied the mixing tip and squirted some into a cup to get rid of the first squirt. All that went fine, but then the mixing tip immediately froze up. I tried to disengage the dispenser but nothing happened. So I tried squeezing some more out through the tip to see if I could free it. That didn't work so I twisted off the mixing tip. Unfortunately that enabled the pressurized material to go everywhere and I probably didn't get the plug on quickly enough to keep the unit from freezing up completely. This is not a system for newbies, folks.
Best adhesive on the market!This stuff is no joke when it comes to glue. Those composite boots aren't going anywhere! Files well without gumming up the file and leaves a nice finished look. Held my glue-on boots on though plenty of Tevis attempts, and looked great for the Haggin Cup judging! Doesn't let water or sweat break the bond to the hoof.
Does the stick!Works great, and sticks big time if the hoof is prepped right. Make sure to work quickly as it sets fast, especially in heat. Wear gloves!
Vettec Adhere works great with glove glue-onsSets fast which makes it easy to use. Good bond when hoof is prepped properly. Have not had boot retention issues for horses that move straight. Will keep using this to glue on EasyCare glove glue-on products for endurance competitions.
