Measuring Guide:
Collect both measurements while seated with the leg at a 90 degree angle using a cloth measuring tape. Wear the breeches and socks that you would wear while measuring. Have an additional person take the measurements for best accuracy.
For Calf Height - Measure from where the heel rests on the ground to the bend of the knee. Add approximately 1/2-3/4" in height to allow for drop.
For Calf Width - Measure the circumference of the widest part of the calf.

Comments: The Saxon Women's Syntovia Tall Field riding boot is an okay boot for anyone wanting to ride in them for about 2 seconds. Good for the look, but not really the part of a riding boot. I bought a pair that were defective and returned them- the zipper had broken before even trying them on to see how they felt. Such is, it happens. I exchanged for a new pair and it was handled quickly and well. The new pair felt nice, a bit loose near the top of the boot but I did get a slightly bigger size than I normally wear as other reviews from other sites mentioned they are often tight. They fit well, I used them for a 25-30 minute ride, cleaned them up, and put them back in their box. That was the last good use. Next use and the zipper popped open at the ankle on the left boot in the middle of a ride, I was currently doing some virtual show recording with some light work, aside from that I did not use the boots for anything extreme and had only been wearing them for about 15 minutes when the zipper broke. And from there the zipper just kept breaking. The "laces" or whatever stretch material is used as laces also broke, which I am not sure how. Never the less the boots are currently useless until I can find somewhere that can possibly repair and reinforce the zippers. All in all rather disappointing. I get the cheaper boots aren't going to be as good as the more expensive ones, but after two uses and only 1 zipper breaks, it is a bit disappointing. The boots are good for looks, if you want to do a photoshoot and look the part or have a few quick 5 minute rides where you do nothing more than have your horse walk- maybe a sitting trot just don't actually use any leg...or walk. 2/5.
