Great haynetThis hay net is standing up to the hard use our mammoth donkey jennet dishes out. I’ve used hay nets for years, and she has managed to destroy some really good ones as she seems to enjoy chewing and tugging hard on the mesh. This one is holding up and I now have several of these.
Great bagsThese work well and hold an entire day of hay. Last eight hours or more with my mares.
Completely Disappointed! These nets were described and labeled as being 30 inches long and having 1 inch holes. They are actually way longer (33-34 inches) and the holes are at least 1 1/4 inches or larger. I ordered a large quantity for use at a Sanctuary, where we must monitor intake carefully for our compromised animals, and these nets are totally unusable for our purpose!

Perfect for overweight horsesI have tried so many hay nets and this one is the only one that works for my girl whose whole life is revolved around food. Diets don’t work because she eats too fast and then goes too long without eating. I like to offer 24/7 forage but with horses like her it’s impossible. Though, this net makes it possible and she stays eating and even gets tired and comes back for it later! I can leave it out almost all day. She also hasn’t been able to chew a hole in it which is a huge win. Easily fits 4 flakes of hay probably 5-6 depending on how much you feed. I bought the large size.
Good but HUGE!Very small holes, sturdy so far (about a month of greedy horse use). But this thing is really, really long! I have to hang it quite high, but I don't pack it full which makes it harder to eat from as well.

Comments: This is my favorite hay net. I've been using it daily for 7 months and it doesn't show any signs of wear. It's durable, has a contrasting color cord to cinch it closed and does a great job at extending meal times. My horse destroys other hay nets within weeks. I'll be replacing all my nets with this one as they wear out.

Comments: These do a great job of slowing my mare down so her hay lasts longer. I used to use the typical 1-1/2 or 2" mesh, but my mare got so good at yanking wads of hay out that she now gets this 1" mesh. The first day she was a little frustrated (and frayed one small area a bit) but then she caught on and has not damaged them since. I've been using these daily for three months now, and they are holding up very well. I got several of these in the small size, because I prefer to put multiple nets around the paddock to keep my mare moving.

Comments: Have had this for about a week now. I got the large size one and it holds about 3/4 of a bale and lasts my guy all day which is exactly what we want since he's on stall rest.
